The figure is lower than 2015 despite exchange rate depreciation which is masking how badly revenue has dropped. Mind you, 2015 had a corrupt and lame duck government in charge for the first 5 months.

This is not a one time generated figured, for it to enter one man's pocket.

It is the accumulated gross income from Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2016 on duties, tax and VAT

And you think Customs will remit all the money? Multiply the figure you saw above by 3 to get the actual amount they got. We all know customs nah.
