If you are current in the high tech market, you would have known that samsung is also putting a 6gb ram on the upcoming s8. it's a technology advancement race. Just the way tesla, future faraday, LaEco and others are giving auto giants like ford, GM, honda e.t.c sleepness nights, all this 6gb phones are also giving samsung and other giants sleepness nights.
e.g Norway is banning all fuel powered cars by 2025..That's a free ride for tesla and co. The rest of Europe and the advanced world would quickly join Norway too. Bad market for auto giants.

It is also believed s8 would have a 4k screen and 256gb variant too. When sony released a 4k screen some years ago, some ignorant folks on nairaland where laughing at sony saying you dont need all those on a phone..Now i wonder if they would laugh at samsung too.

In an high tech market, you would be left behind and eventually go into extinction if you dont innovate.

The bigger the RAM, the better. But then, for now 4GB is more than enough for me as I don't fancy running multiple apps at the same time.

A 2GB RAM phone can still beat a 6GB RAM phone depending on the Processor, GPU and Software optimization, so a good smartphone is not all about the amount of RAM.
