I got a Gionee m5 mini three weeks ago but whenever I try connecting it with my PC through USB cable, it doesn't show anything as I don't see phone memory nor memory card. I've tried it on 3 different PCs. Please help.

You need to install the driver 1st.

You need to be developer so go to about phone under settings tap build number for 7 times you will become after tap back key go to the developer turn it on and search USB debugging tick it and your phone would start displaying on the system with the memory card

Thank you so very much. I tried your suggestion but it was only the PTP mode that showed. This mode just lets me transfer photos. The MTP mode that is supposed to display phone and memory card storage didn't show. But thanks a lot for your help. If you have any other suggestions I am open to it.

1. Plug your phone into your computer,
2. pull down the notification the top of the screen and select the “USB” option.
3. Select the transfer files option

The worst gionee phone I ever used, gionee m5 mini. The is crazy battery is dead, back camera is crazy and kweak. Phone wen Neva reach 1 year don die.

All you need is a good file recognizing program on your laptop/PC, I guess Filetypeadvisor might cope with this perfectly (as it detects any kind of file and suggest different tools for it's further opening). The program is very simple in usage, no need of special skills to work with it. Good luck
