My sister droped my system and since then the screen is acting funny. Just showing coloured lines and blinking...is there a solution that wont involve changing the screen?

If you're having virus, worms or any other malware problems. Try scanning your PC with RoboSAM first.

If your system is waking up immediately you attempt to put it to sleep, it's either:

* There's a program that is preventing the system from sleeping (but if this the case, system should prompt and inform you)

* There's a key or two that is stuck on your keyboard.

Since we know some keys are non functional, then we can say those are the culprits. Do this: get an old toothbrush, and use it to clean (dust out your keyboard) pls don't use any other thing aside from t toothbrush. The problem could be dust particles o debris. If you've got access to compressed air, you can make use of that.

If the problem persists, you'll need to change your keyboard.

Pls I got a new Dell laptop some couple of months back and the space bar, b key, n key, and arrow keys seizes, sometimes it would work for a week then seize for the next 2 to 3 weeks..
I have tried to drive it with different drivers such as driver pack, driver genius, and driver booster but it keeps saying the drivers are up to date. I have also detached the keyboard and cleaned it still no changes. Please what can I do have been using on-screen keyboard.
