Happy new year. Had a sudden burst of my honda pilot ATF fluid while on motion. Fresh ATF has been poured but now the dipstick and oil has a burnt smell. Outside that the tranny shifts normally without any issues.
Question is what could have caused the ATF burst? Road side mechanic is insisting the gear converter seal is the culprit.But that has not been changed but the oil is still retained without any leakage.So scared of driving the car now really.

Vibrations while in motion:

When you experience vibrations in motion, especially when you step on the brakes, your car brake pads are burnt (worn out) and your disc rotors may have groves or warped by a bad brake pads. Replace both pads and rotor.


If the vibration occurs in acceleration, your shaft cups (gear end of shafts) needs lubrication or outright replacement.


If the vibration occurs at particular speeds (between 50km/h - 100km/h), your disc rotors are bad, vehicle may need wheel balancing or low/up control are bushings are damaged.

No response still on Honda EOD Iv-tec 2.4 engine.
My car is having issues. The gear arm was stucked after an accident. A mechanic around there tried to fix it for me. Since then, the car no longer throttle and select gear properly again in drive mode. The mechanic I met is only talking about ringing the engine. Any advice would be appreciated.
