pesinfada:I truly don't see anything wrong with loaning one of opposite sex money. Everyone of us, fall on hard time from time to time, and to use one's gender as a criteria in rendering a loan is bad. But, if you are in a relationship with that individual, it is better to trade carefully and don't mix business with pleasure and loan is a business. Though, you may not go to the extend of asking them to write you a promissory note (if you can, the better) but at least ask them to send a txt message requesting for the loan, what it will be used for, when they will pay and interest, if that is part of the deal. And do not give them cash, do a bank transfer and utilize the note section of the transfer to indicate that it is a loan, its payback time, etc. With the above, you created enough paper trail and also to put them on notice. 2 Likes 1 Share |
