Thanks for that question. John Kuffour, the sitting president of Ghana, lost his reelection bid to the opposition leader, John Attah Mills in around 2009/10. The latter died in 2012 and his deputy, John Dramani Mahatma took over. John Dramani Mahatma won first term but lost second term to the Opposition recently and handed over peacefully.
