According to trending photos on social media, a truck carrying prisoners from Luzira in Kampala, Uganda has been involved in a fatal accident -which has left many dead. This just happened few hours ago as security officials were seen removing the bodies of the dead victims and also the injured. See photos below;

Everything from the way they handle the crash scene to how they handle accident victims to how they transport them is shambolic. Emergency services are non existent and /or poorly trained in several African countries. Development is not just about shiny edifices but also human and institutional development.
