Ex-Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State is not hiding his ambition to contest for the presidential position in the2019 general elections. A few months ago, he turned a visit to Kano State Governor, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, into a campaign rally. A crowd during the event climbed the fence, broke iron barriers and destroyed security scanners at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano. Below, we see Kwankwaso's posters and banners all over the ancient city, signifying his intention to campaign, even though elections is two years from now.

I used to think that Kwankwaso would probably made a great president... But his tribal record is scary. His attack on Odimegwu during the census issue still reverberate... His sharia stance is even worse than Buhari own maybe he is in league with Elrufai that has been killing people upandan since he became the governor... Atiku seems to be better than them all... Imagine...Atiku now looking like a good candidate...naija own don hit am... What an unfortunate country. Who knows if Kwankwaso...Atiku...Elrufai...Lamido...Buhari can neutralize each other so that we can get someone from the south or middle belt as president
