I heard the school can boast of good laboratory equipments anyway. That aside. I personally think it's better to send all this rich kids to schools in good countries with a better educational system than Nigeria instead of sending them to private schools that employ the same lecturers that teaches at the public university they were avoiding in the first place. Its just like paying for the same thing at a bigger price with even less value.
Most churches private schools are just like that prison Pablo Escobar built for himself. The outside is super cool but what is happening inside is OMG!!!. angry grin
with the present forex rate, private universities paying in naira are cheaper than foreign schools. And I will choose covenant over any public uni anyday anytime....I have passed through both systems. Covenant is better in the long run, if you can afford it.

i zm not saying it shud be free, but make it cheaper for members....aterall,the missionaries made school free for people, especially for pastors we have nowadays

Missionary school were free back then because we had people sponsoring them just for us to be educated. People at the background were funding. Let's encourage these people. Won't you be happy if covenant is named among the best in Africa. The glory goes to the country. Some of these churches take loan to build. Good infrastructures like this is what makes ASUU go on strike.

Covenant university isn't for everyone. If you can not cope with the culture there you can go to Unilag or something, don't come here to then assault people who love their almamater and are willing to show it off.
Covenant university is currently the 2nd best university in Nigeria(webometrics) and may even become top 10 in Africa in the next few days when Webometrics releases 2017 rankings due to their highly impactful journals which as been cited heavily of recent in Asia and USA. They are currently beating OAU,UNILAG on impact of science journals with the only exception of UI. That same university has patented 25 products with the EU patent office last year alone. Finally if you doubt their output you can go and check on researchgate to see the impact their journals are making all around the globe

What exactly are you trying to say
naija (i mean her public schools) are in bad shape, they are doing poorly, you cant compare them

in anyway (is the corruption, sorting, back for grades (ladies) and the other unmentionable ills bedeviling
the ivory towers that time may not permit me to enumerate) these public schools cannot be compared with the
the school the OP is talking about.

I just messaged my friend studying at the Dept of Biological sciences and once he replies me I would message you right away. I do have an idea of how much it is but I don't want to speculate. So I would just wait for the guy to respond.
Most of the Officials would have gone home by now so there numbers won't go through.

The schools are not tax free. Let the government invest in Education. Most of these schools are just a decade and they are already making waves internationally . CU attracts foreign students unlike our public school. When I saw criticism about this man here on nl . I had to attend the church. Offering is just once and it's voluntary. No special offering for covenant university

Its a beautiful school, this is how all uni in Nigeria should be, but I don't like the fact that they wear school uniform, that's fvcked up.
Re: Covenant University In Pictures by Nobody: 10:41pm On Jan 19, 2017
By the way most of the new buildings in CU from d Senate building, Research Hub, PG hostels and even the magnificent Faith theatre(100,000 stadia for living faith) were all designed by CU students.

Well my offerings open doors for me. God doesn't need our money but u need to so as to recieve blessing. Running of school cost billions of naira.

Don't mind them if only dey knew d cost of running a university for one day. They wouldn't be complaining. Uniben spends roughly 3 million on diesel jus to power their various generator. I know dis cos am a staff. A government dat can't give its citizens power. So they shld make loss just because u can't afford d sch. Fee. Nonsense
3 million everyday na beans
