It took the air Force less than 24 hour's to fly troops to Gambia while to fly troops to southern Kaduna is taking a while. Fellow Africans, one can not help but wonder at the speed of light it took the Nigerian military and air Force to deploy troops to quench the fire which they want to ignite in a neighboring country while the fire burning in our backyard is left unattended for many months. |

kettykin:Nice observation. Yet some sophisticated people will blame you for telling the truth. Left for me, the greatest punishment we can give to them is to push harder for our freedom and ensure we get it. This will leave them to face the monster they love to cheer on its patg of destruction. Then, we become deaf to their cries and blind to their tears by closing our borders. I've never seem such sycophantic people. |

Simple: Gambians are unarmed while herdsmen are armed. Fear of and for life |

If at this time Fulani herdsmen haven't been declared terrorists, then you know how silly those managing Nigeria are. They keep looking for different names to call them, from herdsmen from Liberia, Neighboring countries etc. And even a Governor paid them ransom |

We yoruba muslims believe that our fulani rulers and herdsmen have the right to kill and rape our wives. They brought Islam to us and we must worship them. Insha Allah! |

It seems Nigeria is more outwardly patriotic than it is inward. Nigeria loves its neighbors more than it loves itself. I just hope they have not started an ECOWAS vs AES civil war because Ghana, ivory coast and Liberia will be neutral leaving only Nigeria. Northern Nigeria will not join in a battle against their Hausa-Fulani brothers in niger, Mali, Burkina Faso leaving southern Nigeria. Igbos on the other hand will never again go into a war that has nothing to do with igbos like the foolishly did in the January 15th 1966 coup . This invariably leaves a yoruba backed Benin forces vs AES. Time will tell how all these will play out |

Boleyndynasty2:If they declare all Fulani herdsmen terrorists, and bomb all of them, where will you find meat to put in your soup? Or you don't know it's those FULANI HERDSMEN that provide you and your family with your daily meat and kpomo and shaki? You think that shaki and kpomo you eat drops from heaven? |

kettykin:Very NAIVE, simpleton thinking. Nigeria CANNOT solve the terrorism problem with fighter jets alone!!!!! The terrorists are embedded in communities. THEY ARE NOT UNIFORM WEARING SOLDIERS EASILY IDENTIFIABLE, as in Benin Republic. We will NOT ENGAGE IN CARPET BOMBING OF THE NORTH, which is what you want, because you hate them. It will not happen. So quit fantasising about the mass slaughter of northerners, Okay? |

Kemetian:You’re not making any sense here. A whole military General was killed by bandits in Borno after sharing his location multiple times no rescue, no helicopter, no jets to cordon off the zone, nothing. Yet suddenly we can deploy a jet to Benin Republic to bomb coupists? If you still can’t grasp this simple contrast, then the comprehension problem is yours. |
