hello people pls I need your views on job description of a faculty officer in a private university, is it something I can combine with my fulltime job in a govt establishment where I don't have to be present everytime. Oh and d pay is 2 times higher than my pay in the govt agency I work presently...****Advice plzzz

My brother if you have the balls go ahead and do it. No risk no glory.
You should be silent about your government job while at it as a faculty officer.
When you feel you might get caught you resign immediately.
Or better still quit your government job and take up the offer since the pay is higher than what you receive as an officer in a govt job
Look out for the conditions of service of the university job, if it is at par with other government owned universities

Private universities most times would need you on ground if you were employed as a full time staff.

Since you work with inec may be it's around the election period, you would be occupied with work issues.

Take the faculty officer job at the private university. Save money while two timing then quit when it looks like, you can't keep up, retain your government job and invest the money you have saved into your farming business or retail business

thanks man. But u know d problem of lack of security of job that goes with private works. I personally feel that I can gradually build a career in the university by stepping into Academic staff when my MSc is ready but my fear is that private works are not pensionable like govt. On the other hand I can resign d govt job after all no gut no glory. Am still confused. Thanx altogether plz modify ur post by removing d commission I work in.

thank u very much I see u did a good background check on me b4 commenting but plzz remove where I work in ur post. Ur advice seem to toe a middle course. D earlier was dat I should go 4 d uni & d later dat I should drop private Univ in d long run when it starts choking. Thank u again can u. I am just giving you clear options that one can toe.

Private university jobs are supposed to be pensionable like government jobs now. Because of the 2004 and 2014 pension reform act.

The benefit of most government jobs are security and your time
The major disadvantage of most government jobs is poor remuneration.
