Phi001:The difference between 'at' and 'in' is that you use "in" when entering a physical location. E.g In the building In the mall In classroom. So you can have: I m IN the office AT Ikeja 1 Like |

Re: Difference Between ‘in the night’ and ‘at night’ by bollify(m): 11:25am On Jan 23, 2017 |
Phi001: In your case, 'in' is the correct preposition. Because Ikeja is a popular city. 'in' is used when you refer to a country or a popular city. Whereas, when referring to a less known place, you use at. An exemption to this rule however, is, if you were going to a particular place and you take a stop at another, even if it's a country, you use 'at'. For example, on my way to Benin, we stopped at Ibadan for lunch. |
