funlord:Sorry bro Most projects budgeted mmay not be executed because there may be no money to fund the budget. There is different thing to budget fot something there is another thing to not get money to fund it. |

Flexherbal:BROS ITS A PPP arrangement so no question of money not well spent, the problem with PPP is when government fails to fulfill its obligation of the contract. It is a straight forward approach and developed world adopt this methods for major infrastructural development. |

koladebrainiac:So there has never been money available since 1960? This is the sort of stance and buck passing that has ensured that our leaders have always gotten away with under performance in the past! Nigeria's problem has never been funding rather it has been that of political will! |

Sammiejokes:If you keep asking _stupid questions then expect to be spanked like a _stupid kid! How many things have been budgeted, approved and disbursed for in this country since 1960 that have become white elephant projects or that have had their funds mismanaged in the past? There are too many reasons littering history that point to why we must always be suspicious of some certain caliber of projects! |

| Re: FG Releases N72bn For Lagos-ibadan Rail Line by jomoh: 9:42am On Jan 24, 2017 |
funlord:They are constructing a new one to run side-by-side with the old one to make it two not the renovation of the old one that previous administrations has been doing. They already said it two weeks ago and I read it. If we follow the news coming out of this administration, we find out that it is very consistent. They say something this week and they next time they say something about it, you find out that it is consistent with the previous one they said especially when it has to do with projects. That is one attribute of someone telling the truth but I found out that people are so blinded by the hatred they have for them that they forget to add up the information. |

koladebrainiac:What has 1960 got to do with my question in my 1st post?......they have been systematically ripping of the nation with such schemes for decades! Read the screen shot and the adjoining article! I told you that the lagos Ibadan rail has been one of their cash cows in addition to the rail projects in other parts of the country! http://punchng.com/nigerian-railway-a-tale-of-failed-contracts-dashed-hope/
