Kazeem's handiwork. Na Vacuum line or coolant line he block.

Thanks my Oga I don't think I will blast kazeem too much on this issue ooh grin

Because I noticed that even on my own engine the hole (space) for connecting whatever that stuff is seems to be closed right from when I bought the engine tokumbo.

as you can see from where my finger rests on the second picture there it's closed shut as if nothing is supposed to be there any Or is it that the hole is usually bored or created by the user because it's like the engine didn't come with the space for that apparatus from factory.

I'm really confused with this discovery I swear. Maybe that's why it's consuming fuel anyhow.

I need more clarification from guys who know this engine intoto

Abeg make una come ohhhhhh

See another shot of the engines of the cars with their manifold cover opened up. As you can see from the pictures (mine is the top one) my own engine doesn't even have the opening that the other one has where that stuff goes into right from the factory.

I'm wondering if there are different types of ivtec engines because I went on Google and yet found nothing about different versions of these engines.

What is your Honda accord model year?

What is your Honda accord model year?

It's a 2004 ivtec vti-ex.

It's possible that my last engine (the one that was in the car when it was bought) has the same configuration like this other one I'm seeing now because I'm seeing a bolt used by the mechanic who changed the engine for me to block/plug the opening on the air hose going to the air filter compartment.

Abi is it that there's an European and American version of this engine? Because the only reason I can think of concerning their differences might be due to emission issues that American specs cars usually have to conform to.

Check your specific engine type. Is it K24A1, K24A2, K24A4 or what? Pls check and revert to me. If your your car is a 2004 American spec Honda Accord, it should have K24A3 as its factory installed engine.

Nice info. I have been looking for it in their Mega stations for the past 4months especially in Abuja still no show. I decided to buy Abro(4Lts) but could not use it cos of negative feedbacks from those that had used it.
I wouldn't mind getting 10bottles via you since it seems you can still lay hands on some. We can make arrangements if you could help.
Thanks

Well, I'll look around today. Like I said, it's usually relatively scarce in the dry season, but I'll let you know if I find.
Cheers!

Seriously I don't know how to identify the specific engine type in my hood. I've looked it over and over both online and physically yet I'm lost. I will keep trying to figure it out sha

Check a paper by the side of the engine. Its usually there also an engrave portion is there to tell you the type of engine and engine number.

Budget like 15-18k for a new pump. But before then watch some YouTube videos on Honda power steering pump o-ring replacement. I did when I had same issue and ended up spending 200naira only for a particular o-ring instead of buying a new PS Pump for 13k then.
Good info.

To the techies in the house. I think i have a leak in the exhaust of my 2006 HONDA ACCORD because the exhaust is unusually loud whenever i rev the engine or while in motion. I will like to know what precautions i need to take in fixing it and also if i can be referred to a competent mechanic that can help in fixing it. I am based in Lagos. Thanks

OK. So, i've really looked around in the past few days, I wasn't able to find at any Total staion.

If you intend to use the coolant for a Honda car, your next best alternative might be to contact luvinghubby for Honda Genuine type 2 coolant. Otherwise, hold on till Total supplies.

Are you based in Lagos? Saw it at a Total service station around Ijanikin in Lagos. It goes for #500 per litre.

I drive a Honda civic 2004 model. it doesn't accelerate well on time (race well) after ignition or after braking.
What could be the problem and possible solution?

And I notice that the hand brake sign on the dashboard is always on, irrespective of whether it is on hand brake or not?

Hi Mavrodians, serious pairing going on. Almost every one is being matched to PH or GH, No more small talk, its action time.
For the many people calling me every minute of every day asking if mmm is truly back or not and wondering whats going on, now is the time to show that YOU and I are d MMM, whatever we do from now determines if mmm will be sustained or not.
go PH and GH, then PH again. Mavrodi no go dash u his own money to sustain d community. If u are to PH, do it fast today, dont wait till monday. If u are d GH, after ghing, then PH again!!!. Todays list is too long, i cant write it down, na screenshot i go do. Check to see if u or ur downlines has been matched.

THE KEY IS THIS

DON'T talk bad about mmm in the public because your Gh is someone else's PH .if you talk bad about mmm in the public you wouldn't know if the person that will pay your Gh is there and by talking bad of mmm you have destroyed that other person's good mind in mmm and at last nobody will pay your Gh.so Keep speaking good about mmm in the public and soon you can Gh and be paid. i see mmm nigeria entering into 10million active & serious participants this year 2017

Hello lovinghubby and all special honda auto users
My honda bulldog exhibits the following complications

It's and Automatic transmission and the Gear is somehow difficult to move from 'P' but after it somehow moves after series of trials its smooth as ever to others like N,D4,D3,2 but it doesn't enter 1. what may be the cause please?

Secondly when accelerating it jerks before changing speed or gear. a friend said it's the plugs.

Please help with possible solution and parts to be replaced.

Help!! My Honda eod 2005 is having a hard start issue...so far I hv changed the the kick which was damaged as a result of too many attempts to start the car. After replacing the kick my mechanic managed to start the car by jump starting it with another battery and took the car to his workshop. He later called me to say that he changed a sensor which he said he bought for 10k at oyingbo market that the car is now ok..He came with the car and after driving around for 1hr I packed the car only for it to resume it hard starting after being packed for 3hrs..pls what can I do to solve this issue as I hv spent 27k yet no headway..I also want to know how much is kick sold in the market and the sensor cos I know I allowed my mechanic to rip me by buying the kick for 15k and sensor for 10k which I later confirmed to be much lesser in price than the above.
I don't think he ripped you for the Kick. I changed mine for 13k last year

Oga mi, I'm currently suffering from a similar problem but only when the AC is running. When AC is turned of, the car idles smoothly and around 800 RPM.

Once the AC comes on, the RPM starts dancing between 200 and 400 with serious vibration. To stabilize, I'd have to raise the RPM to 1000 by throttling.

How do I overcome this issue?

Car is a 2001 Honda Accord V6.
