My sister..... Chop knuckle jare.... Gabriel This, Gabriel that!!! Why him no score today??

Pep is a joker.... angry

No. Do not say Pep is a joker. I watched a few highlights of the game today and Gabriel Jesus is really fast. The young man is also skillful and strong on the ball.

I still believe Iheanacho can do better than the guy if he continues working hard.

Gabriel Jesus is not just hype. He is a player who grew fast in the game. Nacho needs to become a player people can easily say he is better than Gabriel Jesus.

Iheanacho should study suarez movement today, another time it will be study messi, now Iheanacho will start to study Jesus flimsy excuses, just send the guy on loan.

I am sorry, who said Gabriel Jesus is more clinical than Nacho? I totally disagree. Nacho is a far better finisher.

Guardiola believes Gabriel Jesus has what he needs in a forward. It comes natural to Gabriel Jesus. However, Nacho should learn to mould himself into that kind of forward. Coupled with his finishing, he will become one of the best in the game.

Gabriel Jesus hype is not just because he is Brazilian. Remember that even at Brazil, the fans there raved for him. Guardiola called Gabriel Jesus himself and asked him to work with him at City.

We should not turn our eyes to fact that the young Brazilian has convinced a lot of people as he grew in the game.

People on this thread said so..... Lordabas is one of them.... Want more names? grin

The hype on Gabriel Jesus is too damn much. He's not even half as good as Ronaldo de lima was at same age. Na wa oooo.... Gabriel this, Gabriel that!!! Mtcheeewww.....

Pep is just annoying me.... That man is so rigid and stubborn sometimes. He has this stereotype thinking that the kinda players that succeeds under him must be south americans or spaniards predominantly.... Or just be any kind of european who has some flair... But African?? I have never seen african player playing football for an African nation fly under pep no matter how talented.... It's annoying Sir GoodJoe..... I wonder how long Pep wanna keep Nacho at potential level when he can just play him even in the hole behind the striker... Must it be Silva or de bruyne all the time?? And when aguero messes up why dump Nacho only to throw him into games that the team is already chasing and when the team fails to score, pep will be like, "I brought you on to score and you didn't... So that's your chance gone"

Pep is unfair to Nacho. Nacho has never actually lost form this season.... Why treat him like he can't perform in big games??

Who is Gabriel Jesus in europe that he should bench Nacho?? Ohhh... I forgot... I already answered that... He's brazillian... And he's got the genes of Zico, pele and Ronaldo de lima rolled into one... How marvellous...

Iheanacho is not the only one affected. Adarabioyo, Maffeo, Angelino, Aleix Garcia. Three of these are Spanish too. Even when Fernandinho got suspended and Fernando picked up an injury, Guardiola opted for Zabaleta in midfield.

I always like coaches doing what they fill is right for them. If Guardiola feels Gabriel Jesus is right for his team, then he should get what makes him happy.

I feel Nacho is the superior talent and I want Nacho to work more on his all round play. He has seen the philosophy, the tactics. He has improved, especially his speed and stamina.

I want Nacho strap up and play every training like his life depends on it. Be like Sane, a player Guardiola says now looks a different player in training.

I want him to round up the season working hard and then look elsewhere for playing time.

Are you sure Nacho will start at these clubs you are suggesting? Sometimes, these clubs could act funny. Giovanni Dos Santos left Barcelona to Tottenham Hotspur for playing time and saw far less games than at Barcelona.

Aleix Garcia, Adaradioyo, Maffeo, Angelino... Abeg any of these in the national teams of their nations?? Any?? Any of these with goals galore and fine performances in the UCL or EPL spanning over 10 games??

Pep usually make some of the worst transfers sometimes... I remember Chrysginsky at barca, Zlatan at barca... Etc... Let's see how Jesus pans out.... The next pele I believe... grin

My stance for Nacho has not changed. I believe the lessons under Guardiola will mould him into a better player. As long as Nacho embraces the philosophy and the yard work of the system, he will become a top player.

I felt a year or two is okay if Nacho was an understudy of Aguero. With Gabriel Jesus playing nine today, that is out of the window.

Nacho needs to complete the work under the system. I always said a year or two. With the circumstances on ground, a year is ideal but he needs to work very hard. With more improvements, he can go to another club and flourish. As long as he keeps improving like Sane did, many top strikers will not play as good as him.

I am against a loan at this stage. At the end of the season, Nacho will have enough knowledge to take him his career. He needs an outright sell.

I also believe in the lessons he will learn and have been learning for ages under Pep... When it comes to tactics and training... Yeah I doff my hat for pep.... but when it comes to actually giving a African player playing for an African nation a chance to shine, he is always impatient and don't wanna see anything good. He is a biased individual.... He has this stereotypical preference for players from south america, south europe and just maybe some attention to North or eastern europe...

Look... Sir TheGoodJoe... Say the truth, when you look at Iheanacho and Ageuro, who between these two actually fits more into the Pep philosophy?? Who?? Based on the two players' style and talents....

Many managers have their choices, that does not make them bad. It just means the player can move up to better climes. Even the great Sir Alex Ferguson had his own, Mou etc.. So claiming he is a bad manager is really not fair. He does not Favour nacho, fine another coach will. Even Eto get him own o. So no be today. And your Madzukich claim has no backings. Before you can accuse him if such you need facts
There's a difference between being a good coach and a good man manager. Guardiola is a good coach but a bad manager.

About Manzukic.... You can hear from the horses mouth....
"Referring to his omission from the 16-man squad for the cup final against Borussia Dortmund, which Bayern won 2-0, Mandzukic added: 'Guardiola decided not to play me because he didn't want me to finish as leading goalscorer, so he did not let me play towards the end of the season.

'It wasn't really important but it did show the lack of respect he had towards me.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2812699/Pep-Guardiola-disrespectful-deserved-better-insists-Mario-Mandzukic.html

I do not think Pep wants to keep Aguero. Remember, Aguero came back overweight but he kept playing. While, Nasri got frozen from the team. I think some of the officials in City protects Aguero and keeps him on the team.

Nacho suits Pep's philosophy more than Aguero.

As for African players, Guardiola had a good time with Alaba. I do nit think this is just down to bias. Guardiola believes in Gabriel Jesus talent. He believes the boy suits his philosophy. Nacho should keep training, improve vastly and make a right move to a club that will make him their top player.

"I had great time in Bayern, but let's be honest, the style of game forced by coach Josep Guardiola does not suit me," Mandzukic told the Sportske Novosti daily. "No matter how hard I try I cannot see myself in that kind of football and I cannot give my best. Since that's the case, the best is to separate."

Even Mandzukic believed he did not suit Guardiola's system and he could not give his best. The same person feels because he leads the top goal scorers chart, he must start a game. That is petty to me.

As a professional, Manzukic laboured through the season in an unfavourable system and scored 26 goals.
A manager going out of his way to bench such an asset because he doesn't want him to win the top scorer is *#/£*. Excuse me.

@bolded... I was very specific about the kind of african players. I said, "African players that play for African nations" not european nations..... Alaba may be Nigerian by name or blood but he is actually Austrian by birth and by citizenship.

......................................................................

Thank you for your very honest answer.....

A player that fits pep's philosophy more than Aguero is being left out of match day squad altogether while Aguero remains. Hmmm.... angry

Gabby Jesus, someone new to England, wey never even start sub-quarter of the drills of Pep on the training ground don dey get games sef... Okay naa... angry

And Nacho does fit Pep's philosophy yet Pep would rather have Nacho keep working his socks off without probably speaking words of reassurance to him or even giving him reasonable game time for one who burst unto the scene last season and had impressive stats...... Pep doesn't believe in our lad. I pray I am wrong about this but the signs are not encouraging.

I have said this before.... Man City's next biggest mistake would be losing Iheanacho coz of some fancy "brazillian-hyped" Gabby Jesus....

Their biggest mistake had already been done in bringing in Guardiola... Guardiola may seem like their savior but in the long run... I'm not sure of him giving big enough chances to City's EDS stars. Pep would rather buy than nurture patiently.... Pellegrini was even better off as he reached the UCL semis before he left and gave some EDS kids a chance..... He is the first man to take Man City that far in europe. Let's hope Pep matches that... And more.

As for Nacho.... I am afraid Man City will have to see him leave coz Pep now has Aguero (who doesn't even match his philosophy) and Gabby Jesus.

City's next biggest regret loading.......

Nacho will come back to haunt City if he leaves... That's for sure.

City and Nacho can go their separate ways and they can both do fine. I am still gutted at losing Dennis Suarez but life goes on.

I was always interested in Nacho improving on the training pitch with Guardiola. He is still getting it. He is with Guardiola working on improving.

What I want most from Nacho in this second half of the season is to do better than Gabriel Jesus on the training pitch.

Nacho always wanted to become the best in the World. It starts here. I want Nacho to move faster each day, jump higher, track back faster and press harder. Nacho needs to revive his skills, drop deep more often and chase the ball when the team is in possession.

This is not just to break into City's starting line-up but improve as a player. After this season, Iheanacho does not need the young players tag. Let this become his final lessons. If Guardiola will not give him playing time, it is fine. There is enough room for both to become successful.

As a professional, Manzukic laboured through the season in an unfavourable system and scored 26 goals.
A manager going out of his way to bench such an asset because he doesn't want him to win the top scorer is *#/£*. Excuse me.
No room for favoritism. Play the best that suits the system. Mandzukic agrees he does not fit. Why play him ahead of those who fit because he is top goalscorer. That is a sentimental choice.
