My point is this: While discussing all the states of the US, it could be misleading to infer that other states are in surplus and California is bankrupt......when probably only one of the cities in California is struggling to fix its budget

In 2012 two of their cities became 2 of the top 5 largest bankruptcies in us municipal history. With $1 billion and $500 million respectively.

California is gonna stay put. They have Too many financial problems. And if for nothing else if they think the have leaky borders now El Chapo and his amigos would turn Cali into New Tiajauna the moment California decided to jump bad and leave the union.
