@bolded..... I dey tell you... Lolll.... That's why I also dedicated 500 pages thread achievement to him too... ![]() Everytime City loses and Nacho plays even as a substitute, some here always find a way to blame Nacho for it. But when City wins and Nacho is the goal-scorer or creator, that is when some here "realise" it is teamwork that gave City the win and not Nacho.... Very funny lakesidepapa: |

RB Leipzig Denies Interest In Celtic Target Henry Onyekuru, Celtic Submit Final Bid https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/image-144.jpg Germany Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have denied reports that they are interested in signing hot in demand KAS Eupen Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru. Onyekuru took the Belgian league by storm by scoring 10 goals in the first stanza of the league for newly promoted Eupen, and expectedly gained the attention of top teams. While the likes of Fenerbahce and CSKA Moscow have all been linked to the 19 year old, Celtic are the only team to have submitted a bid which was turned down by Eupen. A chief of the Belgian team claimed they will prefer the forward to move to the Bundesliga where RB Leipzig are reportedly interested in signing him in the summer. However it appears there interest is nothing but speculation, with German newspaper Bild claiming that the high flying side are not in for Onyekuru according to one of their director. ”We are presently not close to signing any player. We know the player (Onyekuru) but we have not submitted any bid for him, even talks with his team over him has not even taken place”, he was quoted as saying by Bild. Meanwhile Onyekuru has not trained for four days as he continue to push through a move to Celtic. Yesterday he was missing when they got thrashed 3-0 by Royal Excel Mouscron. Chelsea Loanee Omeruo Thrills Turkish Press With His Versatility – He Is A Complete Player Now https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/image-129.jpg On loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo has earned praises from the press in Turkey due to his performances for his loan side Alanyanspor. Not so known as a utility player, the 24 year old who started his senior national team career as a full back, has played in over four roles for Alanyanspor and didn’t look out of place. Omeruo has been ever present for the team since joining them in the summer bar times when he was ruled out through injury or suspension. While his talent has never been in doubt, this season he has added another dimension to his game by playing as a defensive midfielder in the last four games. He has also played as a full back this same season, while he has also distinguished himself in his primary role as a central defender when he plays there. A member of the Flying Eagles Class of 2011.... Gbenga Arokoyo.... ...................................................................... Portland Timbers Defender Arokoyo: I Did Not Feel Safe In Turkey https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/14037Arokoyo.jpg Nigeria international Gbenga Arokoyo has explained that he had to tear up his contract with Turkish Süper Lig club Gaziantepspor because he didn’t feel safe in Turkey. The central defender arrived in Gaziantepspor in 2014 and started feeling nervous due to the civil war in Syria, a chilling wave of terrorist attacks and random bomb blasts. “I enjoyed every moment in Turkey until I didn’t feel safe anymore, ” Arokoyo told oregonlive.com. “When I got the offer to come here, I didn’t think twice because I believe this is a team that has a goal, that has a passion to be successful. “I saw it as a good opportunity to come to another country, to come to the U.S. and show what I can do best. ” Last season, the Kwara Football Academy product managed only one appearance for the Timbers due to injury but is expected to be a regular in the team in 2017. Awwwwwwwn..... You missed me? Don't make me cry.... *sobs*I miss you too especially your sweet-named moniker, "Lake-Side-papa"... I call it Papa by the lakeside Studies is great Sir... Same as work. ![]() About Kelechi, he surely has a lot to learn but so also do every young super talented player of this era. Kelechi has it in him to be among the greats in African and world football. He's a super hybrid talent and needs a coach/manager who believes in him and trusts him more just like you've rightly pointed out. I don't know why some people on this thread don't understand the importance of trust and belief in a young player's development. Maybe until they themselves in their fields and endeavors are exposed to bosses or supervisors or even superiors who see nothing good in them no matter how talented, only then will they understand what Kelechi faces.... lakesidepapa: |

Guardiola explains why Iheanacho is being left out of Manchester City squad By Ifreke Inyang on January 28, 2017 @dailypostngricles. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, has insisted that Kelechi Iheanacho has a future at the club and that his limited playing time is because he has too many attackers. The Super Eagles forward has scored four goals this season, but has hardly had a chance under Guardiola. Iheanacho was left out of the squad for the Premier League game at home against Tottenham, as fears over his City future increase with the arrival of Gabriel Jesus. The 20-year-old has also been left out of the squad for Saturday’s FA Cup clash against Crystal Palace. But Guardiola says he remains an important part of his team. “We have seven strikers, three in the middle, four or five wide. Normally we play two or three,” Guardiola told the Manchester Evening News. “I don’t know how many others play. We play five or six offensive players and thanks to that we create a lot of chances. “That is the case if you analyse the games against Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea and United at the beginning of the season, and especially in the first half of the season. “In the second half, we created much, much more than our opponents but we didn’t create the kind of chances for this kind of player. “But of course, Kelechi is part of the squad. “Jesus and Nolito are young strikers, Gabriel, Raheem and Kelechi, they are so, so young strikers and they will be the future. They have to adapt. “Raheem is only playing in the Champions League for the second time in his life and fighting to win the title so of course we give them time. “Of course we evaluate how they do in the games and the training sessions. “At the end I try to be fair based on what I have seen in performances. “Of course I have to evaluate it based on what I see on the grass. “It is a case for all the players here – for the strikers, the wingers, the centre-backs, the full backs and the goalkeepers, all of them. “When they don’t play, they have to win my confidence in them.”

Knowing the prowess of the English media, their good and bad moments, their catchy and slack timings, I'll have to conclude that Mr Pep is indeed scared of their reputation and is suddenly beginning to miss it cos he doesn't want say crap to them. But crap he's been saying all these while and I hope with the stat of his statements in most pre and post matches, it is safe to conclude that Pep is, indeed, very confused. |

Ex-Arsenal Super Kid Aneke Continues To Make Headlines With Another Brace For MK Dons Published: January 28, 2017 Ex-Arsenal Super Kid Aneke Continues To Make Headlines With Another Brace For MK Dons Chuks Aneke bagged a brace in Milton Keynes Dons’ 4-0 rout of Peterborough United at ABAX Stadium on Saturday. The season did not start well for the former Arsenal wonderkid as he missed the first eighteen games because of an injury he sustained while in Belgium with SV Zulte Waregem. On 74 minutes, Aneke scores a thunderbolt from the edge of the box before firing home with six minutes left on the clock to give MK Dons a four-goal lead. After going scoreless in his first eight matches across all competitions, Aneke’s brace against The Posh took his tally to four goals in his last two appearances in the English third-tier. The 23-year-old was on the radar of the Nigeria Football Federation prior to his move to Belgium. http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/869472718?-21310:8643:0 h I believe this boy is very good. We need to give him a chance. |

Yep... Read this over and over on many sites. Now can someone please explain how NOLITO IS A YOUNG STRIKER?? And how Raheem Sterling is a striker?? yet Pep says "we have three in the middle (Kun, Gabby and Nacho)" Isn't Raheem an attacker/attacking winger? How is he now a no.9?? Pep is one confused son of a gun.... Cc: TheGoodJoe.... Better put on those boxing gloves coz I challenge you today.... peterd53: |

TheSuperNerd:Make I no lie, Gabriel Jesus get something better than Nathan Oduwa. He is a Champion. Gabriel Jesus singlehandedly helped his club to win trophies after many years without it. That was why he won the Bola de Ouro ahead of many good players in the whole of Brazilian league. ![]() Don't forget he was influential for the Olympic gold medal won by Brazil and he is currently the second best player in the Brazilian national team that is thrashing every teams in the world cup qualifiers black and blue, front and back, including the almighty Argentina. ![]() This hype no be exaggeration, it's on merit. ![]() About Nigeria having the highest numbers of quality U21, bros wake up, we don pass U21 and U21 no dey win World cup. To win the world cup, you need the Young, Old and experience. Brazil got all. Besides, e bi like say you know no how it works in Brazil. They don't look for many good players(although they do) but they look for one or two 'champions' to win a competition. Bebeto & Romario, Ronaldinho & Ronaldo etc These are game changers and champions. ![]() As at now, Brazil has Neymar, Gabriel Jesus, Firmino, Coutinho etc I take God beg you, never compared our National team else..... ![]() |

TheSuperNerd: Raheem Sterling can play upfront. He played there at Liverpool before joining Liverpool. It is the way the modern day forwards play. I still prefer having the best finishers playing there. When Forlan, Suarez nd Cavani were playing together for Uruguay, Forlan was the best finisher and he led the line. Today, Suarez is the best finisher and I prefer him upfront. Not Cavani who I find wasteful in some games. Guardiola always made us believe he had wing forwards and center forward. With the blowing of Sane and arrival of Gabriel Jesus, we are seeing a new script. He is now telling us they are all forwards and any can play upfront. It is his opinion. I hope Nacho does not concern himself with all that. As Osaze said, think about yourself. Iheanacho needs to focus on his drills. Embrace it like Sane did but keep his mind on improving. When he gets his chances, whether with City or another team. |

forgiveness:Chuks is big strong and with a good range of passing but not too mobile. He left Arsenal on loan to play kick and rush at Crewe. Saw him there with Pogba's older brother. He then went to Belgium wrong decision in my opinion. However, MK Dons has a pedigree of playing good passing football and he is thriving again after almost a year out. He needs a season under his belt before I can really say how well he has progressed. Otherwise he looks great potential. |

I'm not comparing national teams naa... ![]() Gabby Jesus is U-21.... You say after Neymar na him... Then I asked, who else dem get at that age again naa? That's where the U-21 comes in... And truth is we pass them there... Let our. Key U-21s making waves mature and you'll see how far... Iwobi, Simon, Nacho, Ndidi... Just wait and see... ![]() Brazil however, is and forever remains a powerhouse in soccer. No arguments. That is as a team. Now we speak of individuals. Gabby Jesus and Nathan Oduwa na the same kinda players with almost same skillsets... I lie? ![]() Only diff is one is black and African, the other has relations to Pele and Zico. Jesus got opportunities coz he's good and also brazillian. Oduwa has not gotten such opportunities coz he's black even though he's also good. Meanwhile I wan ask one question sef..... Which Brazillian midfielder today better pass Mikel sef? Fernandinho? Abi na Ramires? Or Renato augusto? Who? Coz you even said don't compare national teams like we have rag-tag players abi? I'm not comparing national teams... I'm just comparing midfielders now... :p Take ya time ooo... forgiveness: |

I know he can but I asking why he says we have three in the middle referring exclusively to the strikers (Kun, Gabby and Nacho....) and then he mentions Sterling too.... Haba!!!! (Note: Forwards refer to strikers, wingers/wing forwards, support strikers, and sometimes Hybrid AMFs) And how is Nolito young again?? Yara Yara, pls get me a glass of chilled water...
