It's a possibilty..... ![]() But apart from Good disciplined nutrition, exercises is key to his kind of body. People underrate the value and wonders of exercises. EL-hadary is super fit.... At 45, that's remarkable... He would need no walking stick at 80 if he keeps this up. And You too Sir, can be like this... coz I have a hunch that you also wanna look fit and good at anytime.... It's a fantastic goal to pursue but you must be ready for the discipline and sacrifice that goes with it.... goldfish80: |

Hungaria-Nigerian Defender Otigba Knocking On Eagles Door With Both Hands https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/image-83.jpg Kenneth Otigba who reportedly turned down the chance to represent Hungary few years ago in a bid to keep alive his dream of playing for Nigeria is making a strong case to be invited to the Super Eagles. The 24 year old has always been known for getting goals from his role as a central defender, but this season he has improved on his statistics with his goal scoring abilities for his loan side Kasimpasa. Otigba who is on a season long loan to the Turkish side from Dutch side Heerenveen has found the back of the net three times this season, once in the league and twice in cup games. He has also improved on his defending abilities, although his rash tackles still need a little bit of polishing as he been sent off once this season, aside the five bookings he has picked up. His performances and desire to play for Nigeria ahead of Hungary that he captained at youth level should at least earn him a look in for the Super Eagles upcoming test games. CONFIRMED:CELTIC OFFER £1M FOR HENRY ONYEKURU https://africanfootball.com/bp_images/2017/01/onyekuru_latest.jpg Henry OnyekuruAfricanFootball.com can exclusively reveal that perennial Scottish champions Celtic have tabled a million pounds offer for Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru. However, Belgian club AS Eupen will prefer Onyekuru takes up a more lucrative offer from Russian champions CSKA Moscow. Premier League club Liverpool and French Ligue 1 club Nice are the latest clubs to enquire about the left-sided forward, who has scored 10 goals for Eupen in the Belgian top-flight league this season. German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim and Fenerbache of Turkey are also interested in Onyekuru. But the 19-year-old forward has made it clear he would prefer to join Celtic after a heart-to-heart talk with former Nigeria World Cup star Osaze Odemwingie. He has tried to force a move before Tuesday’s transfer window deadline by going missing. He also remains hopeful he would still get his wish even as the transfer clock is ticking away very fast now. Is wonderkid Kelechi Nwakali Arsenal's next Nigerian superstar? The youngster signed in the summer has impressed on loan in Hollandhttps://i2.wp.com/metrouk2.files./2016/09/599846974.jpg 18-year-old Kelechi Nwakali was signed by Arsenal in the summer from Diamond Football Academy in Nigeria before being loaned out to Dutch Second division League side MVV Maastricht. Nwakali comes with some pedigree and hype following a starring performance in the 2015 U-17 World Cup, where he captained Nigeria to the title, winning the Golden Ball in the process. A move to the Netherlands was seen as the ideal fit for Nwakali due to work permit regulations and the proviso that he would get first-team football in a competitive league. Maastricht, a team who Arsenal also loaned defender Stefan O’Connor to, haven’t been in the top league of the Netherlands since 2000 and were eager to snatch a player the calibre of Nwakali to assist in their push for promotion. Nwakali plays with a languid style that belies his endeavour and ability. It took a couple of months before he fully embedded himself into Maastricht’s team but now serves as a focal point, floating in off the right, and adds a grace to the team it would otherwise lack. Not one to typically break beyond the attack, he trails the play and has the ability to beat a player and release the ball quickly, opening up space for his fellow attackers. His ability to step up his speed of play has led to him winning several penalties over the last few months and was evident in the – sole – goal he has scored, against FC De Graafschap. There, he ended up the lead point of a counter attack but didn’t panic where other young players might, instead turning the last defender in and out before deftly finishing through the goalkeeper’s legs. This goal is indicative of the type of player Nwakali is, a youngster with great ability but also a confidence and composure that allows him to influence a game in flashes. He has been utilised in a few different positions by manager Ron Elsen who has looked to bring the promise of the flashes of brilliance into a more consistent player. Maastricht, a team built around combative centre forward Thomas Verheydt, have flipped between a 4-3-3 and a 4-2-3-1 depending on the game circumstance and despite a few appearances centrally, it is generally on the right where Nwakali has flourished. Given the remit to float into the space between the lines, he has shown the ability to quickly turn a game. Now a first-choice player for a team that currently lies 3rd in the Eerste Divisie, Nwakali has built a solid foundation for his first professional season and will look to continue to find consistency as he looks to help his team gain promotion. As one of the youngest players in the league, he has already taken great strides to a potentially bright future, both in Holland and for Arsenal. Nope... Apart from the genetic side to his story, nothing more. Just Dedication to exercises and staying off junks, fatty and sugary foods. Do you know how many calories are found in Butter, cheese and even ice cream?? Hadary obviously stays off desserts altogether. It is miraculous because you are seeing the full fruits of dedication and discipline plus the extreme heights of professionalism in the sport. If you wanna last long and stay active, you must super consistently mind what your body houses and takes in.... ![]() Another name for Miracle in Hadary's case is "Effort" ![]() Maybe you should google Jack la Lanne... Why is Onyekuru rushing to Celtic?? Ridiculous!! The boy should wait to the summer and move to the Bundesliga since he has interest from there. The money offered by Celtic is ridiculous and if I was Eupen's management, I would not accept it. Belgian League is better than the Scottish League, the only thing is that Celtic will play champions League. |

Cameroun Are Far Better Now, We Have To Be Careful With Them – Rohr https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/image-63.jpg Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr says Nigeria next opponent in the race to qualify for the World Cup 2018 in Russia Cameroun have improved a lot. Rohr who is working as a pundit at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon made the remarks shortly after analysing Cameroun’s progress to the semi-final of the tournament at the expense of Senegal. Nigeria will take on Cameroun in back to back 2018 World Cup Qualifiers later in the year, and Rohr has called for his team to treat them cautiously due to their new found form. ”They have improved tremendously, young, physical and very organised at the back. The cup of nations has helped them a lot in terms of organisation and this qualification for the semi- finals will definitely boost their belief”, Rohr said. ”Teams need to treat them cautiously henceforth. I have seen a lot of improvement in the team. We (Nigeria) play them later in the year and we will treat them with a whole lot of respect”. Chaaiiiiiii.... See wetin win over Senegal can do to one's mouth..... ![]() ....................................................................... “We Shall Beat You In Nigeria, Nigeria Always Have Mental Block When They Play Cameroon – Antoine Bell https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/image-50.jpg As some of you may know, I was in Franceville, Gabon, to watch the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final between Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions and Senegal’s Lions of Teranga. It was a very tough encounter, which took a penalty shootout to resolve. After the match ended, I had to catch the shuttle bus to get back to Franceville airport and get our flight back to Libreville, which did not leave Franceville until 1am on Sunday (today). In the shuttle bus, I had two legends of African football sitting very close by – former goalkeeper Joseph-Antoine Bell, who sat by me and the great Roger Albert Milla (although his CAF nametag spelt it as “Miller”), who sat a row behind, on the other aisle. “Jojo” as we fondly call Joseph-Antoine, began to boast that Cameroon, even though they have just two points in the final round of 2018 WC qualifiers– and Nigeria’s Super Eagles have SIX – will still snatch the ticket. He began to remind me of how many times Nigeria has been bested by Cameroon, with Milla smiling as he talked. This bus was full of Cameroonians, including Geremi Njitap, who were excitedly listening to all Bell said, in English and French. (He speaks both languages excellently). Senegal’s El Hadji Diouf, who was still feeling the pain of the defeat, was in the bus too, poor chap… Besides myself, Colin Udoh was the only other Nigerian in the bus. But Colin decided to keep quiet, while Nigeria’s football honour was under attack and being rubbished by Jojo. But I could not be quiet and I had to answer back. The disrespect to Nigeria was getting too much. “Yes, you have beaten us in three AFCON final games,” I told him. “But you know, very well, that only the victory in 1984 was clean. The second, in 1998, we were cheated. Roger tricked the referee (Idrissa Saar of Mauritania) into giving him a fake penalty. And the clean goal of Henry Nwosu was disallowed,” I told him. “As for the 2000 Nations Cup, the Tunisian referee (Mourad Daami) denied us a penalty goal that Victor Ikpeba scored. We have been cheated many times in the AFCON final. “We are in the World Cup qualifying driving seat now and you will never take over. We beat Zambia away and Zambia disgraced you at home. And we will do the same to you,” I told him. But Jojo did not let up, telling me that Nigerian players tremble when they face the Indomitable Lions and they will never get over this mental block. “August will soon be here and you shall see,” I told him. Let not anyone tell me that football is just a game or that national pride and honour is not at stake, when games are played. The Nigeria Football Federation – and Amaju Pinnick particularly – better not tell me or any Nigerian any story about Russia 2018. We MUST be there. After failing to qualify for two successive AFCON finals and with none of Nigeria’s teams, including the U-20 and U-17 teams – playing in any African or FIFA competition this year, Nigeria and Nigerians have suffered enough football humiliation. Enough is enough! I believe that with the players Nigeria now have and with the serious-minded coach that we also have, we shall beat Algeria and Cameroon to the ticket – AS LONG AS THE NFF DO THEIR PART and ensure the coach and players have what is required to deliver. But if we don’t? In fact, let me not think about that… Failure is not an option for Nigeria. Amaju Pinnick knows what will happen to him, should we fail. He will go and seek political asylum in Mogadishu, Somalia. There will be no place in Nigeria that will be big enough to hide him… *Culled from FootballisAfrica as written by Osasu Obayiuwana Source: http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/01/30/we-shall-beat-you-in-nigeria-nigeria-always-have-mental-block-when-they-play-cameroon-antoine-bell/ |

TheSuperNerd:I blew the whistle about this Cameroun team after watching their first game. I got a lot of criticism from alot of people here. It took the game against Senegal for people to understand what I said about this team some 2weeks ago. I would once again say, the target would be to get 4 points from these people. It would be a rough, rugged and raw back to back games against this lot. We need players in top shape physically to prosecute these games. Hugo Broos is unknown in Africa, but I can tell you guys he's one of Belgium's finest managers. The man has a respectable reputation in Europe, his tactical prowess is very evident on this team. How fecafoot have managed to engage some of the best European coaches over the years is quite amazing.... From Wilfred Schaffer to Volker Finke, Paul Le Guen and now Hugo Broos.. Hmm |

jieta:I wonder where you got two or three years time. I always said, One or two years time. I said this due to Iheanacho still in his developmental years and a second striker. I still feel the Barca recipe is important in his development but after this year, I expected him closer to becoming a City regular. My stance has not changed. A year or two working with Guardiola. Hence Nacho might not get close to a regular spot at City, he works with the system for the rest of the football calendar year and hunt for playing time at a club that will give him a regular spot. |

TheSuperNerd: Same frustration when Guardiola flipped the script. It all started when he loaned out Angelino. Which to me is an insane move. Now the young City faithful is in a small club and is not seeing playing time. It was better he even left him at the EDS. It seems Guardiola wants to bring his own players. Rumors had it that he asked for Sterling. Sane is his pick from Germany and Gabriel Jesus is his buy too. All those other talks are story. Still baffled he allowed Nolito come when he did not have plans to use him. I am scared for Manu Garcia, Aleix Garcia, Angelino and co. It seems Guardiola has his targets and does not need them. I believe in giving a coach free hands. Guardiola can leave the stories. The writing is clear. He has his players he wants to play and buy. |

TheGoodJoe:First of all, I doubt if NFF is financing this Rohr's trip. One thing with Oyibo coaches is that they always take responsibility for their jobs without waiting for anybody. I remember when the then NFA refused to pay the salary of Clemence Westerhof's assistant (Bonfrere Jo). What did Westerhof do, he started paying BonJo from his own pocket. And secondly, nobody was asking Oliseh to go watch the Egyptian team life. He was only crying about not getting the tapes of their previous games from the NFF. Why can't he source the tapes for himself? And even if the tapes out of reach for him, can't he look up their games on youtube? |

Icon79:Westerhof could pay Bonfere Jo from his pocket because he had backing from the Presidency, especially through Aikhomo. The NFF already said they are supporting Rohr in his AFCON trip, so saying you doubt they are supporting him financially. You can not compare the support the foreign coaches get to that of Nigerian coaches. Remember the trials Siasia want through at USA. If it was a foreign coach, it will never get that bad. Rohr is doing an amazing work. Praise him but please do not run down our coaches who worked hard for the team. Many of them sacrificed a lot for the success we are enjoying now. Even Oliseh came to coach the team when he was very ill and weak. That Shows How much they love the team. Keshi coached while his beautiful wife battled cancer. These men are special and we are blessed to have them. |
