congrats..and also think of changing the fuel filter as well

Changed mine as well, the cabin air filter as well as engine air filter.

The air condition difference was clear almost immediately. It has over 7 intensity settings i rarelt ever get to 3, always on 2. For the engine i noticed it used more fuel, thought a clean air filter was meant to increase mileage per gallon.

Gurus what could cause this

Post filter replacement. Wont say excessive though

I change my air filters with every service performed. A country like Nigeria that is very very dusty, an air filter change is advised every 3 months.
Do not also forget to replace the cabin filters also.....

It's almost a waste of money replacing your air filter every 3 months. Do you drive in the desert? Except perhaps, you implied cleaning...

I clean mine at every service interval and replace when it's due.
