Since u re talking of using it for day to day activities, I ll recommend either the Rav 4 or the Xterra.
U ve to confirm if d Rav 4 is 4*4 as many are not. If not, then it's not SUV. Also consider fuel consumption as d Rav 4 most likely is 4 plugs whereas d Xterra is most likely 6 plugs. Pls note that most of ur recurrent expenditure on the vehicle will be on fuel consumption. Both are very good vehicles dat will serve u if well handled. Good luck

Ask the seller if it has auxiliary Gear. If it has, then it is 4*4. But most likely I doesn't have.

I like the xterra a lot. But the ones I see advertised on jiji and olx are not as advertised when you check it. They all mostly have some serious issues. I was recently offered a Murano of 2004 for 800k.i have not checked it but I wonder what you guys think.

Could you post pics of it here. And also did you do the radiator bypass on it that will ensure that the transmission is not get destroyed if the radiator crack?

I believe xterra is a wonderful car. I don't really mind much about the fuel issues of a V6 as long as I get one with auxiliary gear.

i dont think morano is a good option..

my former company used one extera back then it was a good car we rarely visit the mechanics.. but has a bit high fuel cosumption

Given your budget, I'd advise you go for Infiniti QX4 2002. You will be glad you did. Good handling, good interiors and good fuel consumption for a V6. Parts are readily available and routine maintenance isn't that expensive. Look out for a good one.

Just confirm the engine status with a good mechanic, rust underneath and the usual you'd look out for when buying a Nigerian used car.

U should give Montero Sport a second thought.... Its really good......used mine for a reasonable while before giving it to a cousin.Meanwhile i still wonder why Nissan MURANO is been stigmatized? Mine served me well before i upgraded.
