A beautiful widow who's husband died 1 year ago (no one knew it ways from HIV) was asked her hand in marriage by a middle class older man who already has 3 wives at home. She says yes, marries the man and infects him with HIV. The man unknowingly transmits the disease to his other wives at home.
The man dies , not from HIV now but from a heart attack. Meanwhile his wives at a home are all infected. They all remarry other gentlemen with wives at home. Please, is the virus not spreading more?
If its about HIV, just educating people to get tested regularly, to practice safe sex is enough.

If you're going to do any wedding for anyone, that person should have gone through your skills acquisition program, and given some money or materials for start up. I think that's better. If a woman is financially empowered, her children cannot suffer. These women being married off are not youngsters or having new marriages. They're most often divorcees and widows who need food and shelter. If they can fend for themselves and their children, they should not be married off to a man who can barely feed himself and the other wife at home. And truth is the divorce rate is second to non. Nothing stops the men from waking up in 6months time and saying "I divorce you" 3X. And then both go and register again for another round of mass wedding.
This is not a condemnation of their way of life btw, but just looking at the bigger picture. Rather, how can life be made better for ordinary citizens. Public infrastructures may be improving, but can people feed?

Yes, its actually multiple sexual partners at high risk, but its not just outside marriage. It also involves those within a marriage. You will find out that Drs also probe further about the marital situations of their patients. If they tell you they're married, that's not enough and you have to find out if its their second, third, fourth, fifth marriage. You equally have to find out how many wives their husbands have. All these long questioning is to have an idea of their sexual history.
Once you sleep with anyone whether in marriage or outside marriage, you are sleeping with that person's previous partners and their own previous partners.
