I think he is been grossly underrated cos of his skin colour

I wouldn't say that if I were you, pep gave Kelechi a lot of opportunity to prove himself but he's lazy approach to the game will eventually cost him everything.
He plays like an accomplished played already when he has a lot of distance to cover in his career. I mean I see his work rate and compare it with yaya, an accomplished player who has advanced in age (in my defense he deserves to play that way cos of his age.) and all I see is a striking resemblance which shouldn't be

You can't read or reason.

As a player under the age of 21 who is listed as a 'home grown' player moving him to the 'B list' keeps him involved but allows another, older player to enter the squad (such as Yaya Toure) who may have been left from the squad list created at the start of the season.
Some people on here lack serious comprehension list. Him being on the B list isn't a big deal. Fools are making it look like he was "demoted" or something.

Thank you and some will compare him with Messi, Messi at his age runs the entire pitch even now still run back to help the defense and midfield.

B list or C list, the salient truth is Ihenacho may not play for Man City again this season except there is a major injury crisis.

Anyone with half a brain knew G Jesus signing would affect him somehow. I knew Pep would eventually play him as a striker despite saying he'd play outwide. He plays as a 9 for brazil.

I don't think so... Go watch his U17 performance... He has a good eye for a perfectly weighted pass, as well as a good eye for goal. But City were more interested in his finishing skills, as really, thats where they had room for him. Its unfortunate that players begin their career with the wrong option. If he had gone to a smaller club and played the 10 role and excelled, bigger clubs will get him to play that 10 role.

spot on nacho is not a natural striker fine he has eyes for goals but yet he is not a natural striker you can use him to play 8 or 10 role [e.g muller] or left so that he can cross in for the striker. the issue is that mancity uses him as a striker which is not very good for him but another things is that with the likes of david silva, debrune, gundogan there is no chance for him to play the eight role. nacho is known for his passes and shot. my advice is he should leave for a smaller club.

Well said my guy

But then, Nigga still has a lot of time and things to offer

Not everyone who starts from a smaller club goes to become a champ... Na online you dey nii??

Messi started in Barcelona with the likes of Ronaldinho et al

He strove to be where he currently is

If Nacho is determined and dedicated, he can still be a very great player...

Aguero and the rest go still old one day na

Like have always said, it's not about his colour but greed on his dad's path that will end his career, not a fan of Gabriel Jesus but the guy is a very fantastic player, more fantastic than our own ihenacho, look at the guy, he is very hardworking, almost every where, even aguero and nolito is kissing the bench down to the work rate of this excellent Brazilian, his link up play with others is great, he fights like his life depend on every ball, that is a typical pep player, ihenacho is the selfish type and not so industrious, his footballing skills isn't that 100% though he is a very sharp striker no doubt but team play is more important for coaches like pep more than your scoring abilities, he scored few goals and was demanding for huge wages, it doesn't work like that with pep, the best for him then was to start from a small club and work up the ladder but the father wanted him from the top, now everything is going down, the solution for him is to leave Man City, the obstacles are too much for him to insist he want to fight his way. For all round team player, an ALEX IWOBI will always be my favorite, it's just so sad for the super eagles, this is happening when we need our best legs playing well

baba God bless ur father

Thank you my brother. So many people cannot process raw data into accurate information.

His young age was an opportunity to take advantage of the regulations for the team to add one older extra hand who did not make the original 21 man squad which Iheanacho is a part of to team. Its called team management

He was never really loved by his team mates. They hardly feed him with the ball unless when there is no other option. And when he scores, they don't celebrate with him joyfully.

try to open up your mind... There is no skin color sentiment attached to his drop. How about Yaya toure, he was included... And Gabriel Jesus, Leroy sane, sterling, all these names I mentioned are all men of color but were included in the team... He lacks experience... Same reason martial and rashford hardly make the first team this season... They lack experience... Let's kill this inferiority complex and strive to be the best... Aubameyang is doing it... So far he is the the hottest striker in the German league, you know why, hardwork.

Jesus is probably better than iheanacho, but he was dropped to the B list just because gabriel Jesus could not be added there cos he hasn't been at the club for 2 years, this does not change anything, its not about racism, pep is just trying to fit everybody into the squad

Why are some folks jumping unto conclusion as if they are swimmers diving into pools at the commencement of their events at the Olympics. Including him in the B team is a way of using the rules to the advantage of the team. This will help them include more players so as to have a large squad.

Of course! Been there, done that. Like I had several times, here in the forum, if you're an African then you'd have to be twice as good as the other guy in order to play. And when you're selected, any mistake you make would see you back on the bench. Sometimes these coaches don't even know that they have this mindset either. As far as I can tell, my coach in college has no racist bone in him, but that doesn't stop him from blaming me anytime something isn't going well with our football team.

It is called "Unconscious Bias".
