This is a sad video to watch. A man was a victim of a hit and run accident somewhere in Lagos yesterday. Usually Nigerians are scared of helping in such incidents because they fear the case might be turned against them afterwards. But for a police van to drive past such a man who desperately needs help is quite sad. Watch the video which was shared by OAP Do2dtun. According to what the OAP wrote:

This happened this night. Hit and Run. Nobody go wait!... This is a typical example of what a good number of people are, in this country. If I relate this to the @official2baba cancelled protest, this is an example of what will happen if something bad happens, people will pass, castigate you and change mouth, even police no go help you instead they will catch you. Naija we are not loyal, we hate the truth, we can't help each other and when someone decides to do something unprecedented, we won't help instead, we criticize and we can't do one thing good when we have the chance. Tuface, did the right thing. We are the hardest people to fight for. Believe that!

Totally failed country, no emergency medical services to call for help. Even the police barely knows their job, the citizens are full of superstition and general crass ignorance busy trying to survive all the hardships. All the man needs is someone to quickly attend to him before it's too late, we are just living like animals in this god forsaken country.

The police has never been a friend of the masses, last year,the civil society group staged a protest in Benin city to express displeasure with the 300 pension for ex-governors, the apc led government hired thugs to counter the protest, the policemen used to block the gate of the state house of Assembly, stood there laughing their asses off,while thugs hijacked the protest and even destroyed the vehicle and musical instruments they hired for the protest, so people should not be surprised, it's the police, that's their way

We have a very useless interior minister using the forces to clean up his shoes. Buhari is a failure I am very disappointed. If our force can not perform the easiest of their duties we might as well disband them.
