My little neighbor came over to me yesterday and asked that I helped with his home work. The homework was about "HERO".

So the question read.. " MENTION SOME PRESENT DAY NIGERIAN HEROS"

I cracked my head thinking...and it dawned on me that we don't even have Heros. All those who are in top positions do nothing worthy of emulation. All those who seemed to be different went into politics and became vagabonds in power.

The Heros of today just may be all those protesters who are risking their lives coming out to speak against this injustice, nepotism, corruption etc.

Stop protesting for symptoms... Protest for the real real reason the symptoms show...

.. We need to understand what recession is and how we got here and and how we can get out....


My idea is simple until government revenue is above 30 trillion per day (and mostly through tax) we won't be able to develop....

I hear governors collecting billions as security votes u don't care because the money is not from ur pocket....

We need to tax more.. Its not fair 10% of people own 90% of our wealth... And the only way to redistribute this is through taxing

why should d protest start from the east? didn't dey warn u guys not to vote yet u called dem names now u want dem to front d protest.....

Things could get much worse (do not underestimate ineptitude, cluelessness and incompetence)

(2.)
There are people who are making 'crazy' money whether Nigeria progresses or not (sometimes they make more money when Nigeria is retrogressing).

(3.)
There are people who knew PMB/APC would fail and were prepared to 'ride it out' (they have sufficient money and 'access')

(4.)
Even if Nigeria is at war (Heaven forbid) there are those who will make 'crazy' money from Nigeria.

(5.)
These people who 'own' Nigeria do not sleep, they are scheming constantly, they have plans for 2019, they have plans if there is a breakup before 2019, they have plans to continue raping Nigeria for a very looooong time.

You are not a beneficiary of their plans.

Lets say you live for thirty more years in Nigeria, at this rate where do you think you or Nigeria will be?


It is in your interest (and that of your loved ones and offspring) to do something legitimate to change the status quo.
