For mamas about to deliver, culled from Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Mize. (If u haven't read the book yet, warra u wairin for?)

"Father as I look forward to delivery of my sweet baby, having enjoyed a blessed pregnancy of full duration, I thank you in advance for your word, your blessings, your peace, your presence, and your divine intervention. I pray and confess that my body and my baby will cooperate with perfect, supernatural delivery, that there will be no problems of any kind. I also believe and declare that my labour will be quick, short, easy and painless. I believe and declare that I'll have time to get to the proper place with the proper help.
Baby, in Jesus name, you move and place yourself in perfect position for birth, head first, not breech, and face down. You rotate properly as God intended you to. I command the umbilical cord to be in proper position as well. Body, you function perfectly during this time. I have perfect peace and I'm relaxed. All fear must go and stay gone for I have God, who is perfect love and casts out all fear. My body will not be tensed but relaxed, at peace. I speak specifically to all parts of my body to come in line with God's word and will.

Father I believe that at the proper time for delivery, my water will break and my uterus will do its job and begin to contract and push my baby down the birth canal and out into our loving arms and lives. I command my cervix to dilate fully to 10cm, to be elastic and stretch. To the uterus, vagi.na, perineum, vulva, as well as my cervix, you relax, be elastic and stretch without causing pain or any complications as you accommodate the birth of my baby. I declare in Jesus name that I will not tear or need an episiotomy. Father, pain is under the curse of the law, and your word says that Jesus bore our pain, so I have a short, easy, pain free delivery in Jesus name; therefore I won't need any anaesthetic of any kind. Thank you Lord in Jesus name. Amen"

Thanks for the shout out, am having malaria since last week doctor gave me some drugs but I kept vomiting them so I had to go back for injection for 3days both in the morning and night. Thank God am getting better now, it will definitely end in praise for us all. Shout out to my fellow teamies, hope we are all shopping well. Pls ask your hospital for the hospital list so you can buy those ones first and pack separately.

OK then, the same waiting game is what am doing here. But seriously I pray baby should come this weekend or early next week sha. But in all, God has the final say and let his will be done. Like one mama will always say here, we cannot be pregnant forever. This month, we will surely rejoice with our bundles of joy alive and healthy.

Before now my ds will suck and suck and suck till my ni.pples will be sore and cracked and bruised and he will still cry for more but mehn today I used the ni.pple shield and he sucked and sucked and sucked and sucked and I was just there pressing phone and watching tv

I for order but I didn't have the patience as I needed it badly

But you can order for it if you don't find it in any reputable baby shop
Sorry for the nipple pain. Mine was bruised and bleeding after the first week. My doctor told me to augment with formula so my nipples could heal as I couldn't continue giving him the bleeding nipples. One week later my nipples were healed but he had a hard time latching. Took us a week to master the art of latching but my boy sucks for Africa he can be on the breast for 2hours! So by the time he's done, my nipples will end up feeling sore.
Thank God for the nipple shield we are gradually adjusting

All this mamas with sore tips and ur baby's boys chai God help me oh. I don't manage pain my DH will just here talk from me. I will look for it to buy as soon as possible. What if I extract milk and give him always so I can be sure the quantity he is taking.

Pls I am 38weeks+5days I feel tightness under my stomach, Weakness of leg, a sharp pain on my jajaina and at times cramp on the lower right side of my stomach are all this signs of labor?

Good morning mamas

So 1st EDD came and went with no twinge from LO. But for the past 2 days I've been having painful cramps and irregular contractions only at night. Once I wake up in the morning it's gone. Can't sleep, can't even lie down at night

@Forzarush, a birth partner is someone u want to stay in d labour room with u during delivery. my hubby has always been my delivery partner from day one for both of my previous pregnancies and we make videos too during delivery. I believe every hospital shld allow a woman choose a delivery partner if she wants. u can ask from ur hospital and see what they have to say.
