Normally if the thing roughly pass 3000mw we dem annouce na at least 14hrs. If e con pass 4,000mw na 18hrs plus.
But now its not even up to 8hrs. Something must be wrong somewhere!

Megawatts going up and down like a swing. Next month, the news will be power drops to so so so and so.

With all the huge gas reserve,Rivers and lakes for hydro generation and billions of dollars siphoned by officials,yet we celebrate what we ought to celebrate in 1962.
To tell you how corruption has eaten deep into our national life,the Egbema gas turbine project where i happen to work for some time is still lying uncompleted because money meant for that project has been embezzled.

The expatriates working for general electric at some time got annoyed and threatened to pull out if nothing is done to complete the project which is many years behind schedule.
The Obasanjo presidency meant well and tried in the NIIP but Nigerians being who we are killed all these with corruption.

It will take us another 25 years to achieve 10,000 megawatts.
