Now, you see, it wasn't really about corruption or incompetence on the part of GEJ; it was actually about returning power to the north! Southern zombies, shame on you!

in my opinion, fielding jonathan was not the cause of their downfall in the election. Their downfall started when they allowed five incubent governors to defect to APC prior to the election.
Re: PDP Crisis: Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Under Fire by magoo10(m): 9:34am On Feb 25, 2017
Northerners and born to rule mentality was one of the prominent reasons jonathan lost .

second is betrayal

one question for them is what has Nigeria gained as an entity since the north has been ruling?

What has the northerners gained since all the years they have been leading the nation?

many of the northern elites are just greedy fellows that is why most of them betrayed their party before the elections and decamped to APC .

they preferred a dying northerner to be president just for their selfish reasons and now we are stuck PDP which they want to reclaim through the back door with sheriff is also stocked.

He who holds someone and refuses to let him go is also held to the ground

I always knew 2015 was an ethnic struggle. The north was just smart enough to put up a smokescreen with the aid of the Lagos media. This deceived many gullible Nigerians.
One more thing, Nigerians need to stop this hero-worship of their leaders. It has already started with the Acting President. We should aim for strong institutions.

Even now, after electing a party chairman they've decided in a non-democratic way to upstage him, without success I must say.

The party is filled with rogues, thugs and of course assassins.

The same rogues, thugs and assassins were in PDP and now are in the APC. They are the same.

Jonathan has never been a smart man, and not just that, he also had this huge inferiority complex to deal with. The likes of DAM, NOI, Clerk, etc intimidated and bullied him into taking decisions he would otherwise have relied on his basic intellect to take.

The very first false move he made was contesting in 2011. Regardless, he had the chance to right his wrong in 2015 only to bungle it like a blind amputee in a bobsled.

I dont see the useless enterprise ever recovering from their current state of coma.

all blacks practicaly have inferiority issues...

even our leaders...

so long you keep on whorshiping white jesus christ, you automaticaly have inferiority complex...

you suppose to be whorshiping black jesus christ that looks like you...

noticed when i kick against white jesus christ,i never use only the sentence "jesus christ"??..

i know jesus christ was a black man...

You cannot expect to rule the country for ever.

Even if PDP had fielded a northern candidate, it doesn't mean he wouldn't have lost.

Just try and field credible candidates next time who know what responsibility towards Nigerians are.

Nigerians are getting wiser, and the era of getting into power, and not performing is gradually coming to an end.

If you don't perform, they vote you out.

I know we will get it right someday, and people will stop attaching sentiments to voting in candidates, regardless of tribe and religious affiliations.

Its really annoying when people vote just on the basis of tribe or religion. Your tribesman in power doesn't automatically guarantee he will favor you.

Youths need to start thinking, I wish all the governors in the north will prioritise formal education, a must for every child both primary and secondary. Establish more different sex schools for those that don't like same sex schools. Allow them broaden their minds so they can easily decipher who's going to be a better candidate from track records.

I agree with you that Jonathan made a mistake contesting in 2011. It would have been a glorious opportunity to correct the system and leave. It seems there is a spirit in Aso Rock that confuses whoever is there. Maybe it's the praise singers.

Why are they complaining, when the North were handing over battern from Gowon, Shagari, Buhari, Babangida, Abacha and Abdusalam all in straight succession non of them remembered the other officers from the south. Today they are all recognized as former heads of state or president.

And when those Northerners were head of state did the country ever move forward?

The answer is a clear 'no'.

Even now, Buhari plunged this country into its worst situation in decades. Now that he has gone and a southerner is in charge the country is actually making some progress. Is that a coincidence?

Let them manage their states well before they start running to the FG to mess things up there as they have done in the north, especially the north east.

pdp are the most corrupt party in Nigeria
Rather in Africa.

The fact that corruption (i mean emphatically that Jonathan was highly corrupt) and gross impunity are not attributed as one of the factors for the defeat of pdp shows that pdp is not in terms with facts and is indication that they have remained unrepentant and should not be trusted.

They claimed the defectors are disappointed for defecting but we keep having more key members defecting still from pdp to APC and these from key pdp states, pdp is living delusion.

If you don't have anything to say you must not type and if you expect me to lecture you on Nigeria history then you are mistaken.

I was referring to the northern elites who have been ruling Nigeria for over 30years since independence with nothing to show for and not the ordinary northerner you see on the street who mostly do not have a voice of their own than to follow their leaders sheepishly.
A good example is the almajiri system, the street beggars ,the poor men having more than 3,4 wives, poor educational system .

there are also the traders, few educated ones etc.

these people form a great majority I know and are not all bad.

but their leaders and elites mostly are the ones with born to rule mentality and in fact the most wicked elites in Nigeria today, most of them have been in the corridor of power for many years and still want to remain there but have perpetually put their people in abject poverty as you can see in Nigeria today.

saying that PDP failed because they didnt present a northerner is not only a born to rule mentality but wicked and satanic.

gej betray himself by not keeping to his word, your ineffectual buffoon is a betrayer to the core.
He is morally corrupt, is not a man to be trusted.
And it was a big crime to entrust a great country like nigeria into the hand of an ineffectual buffoon.
