Wow. I was still in secondary school then. Well, I enjoyed teaching at your alma mater. I was very young and the students really gave me tough times at first until I had to force myself to be hard on them.

Maths is the easiest subject, it is the fear of it that makes it seem difficult. talking from experience.

I just hate Mathematics. The worst of it all is the statement "Maths is easy". It's all a lie. Maths very hard and I hate the subject.

Because men typically study maths/science more except biology.

The best Maths/further maths teachers I knew were women then. One was an Indian lady. Both were maths & further maths wizards. Yes even the lady teachers liked to cane a lot.

But it is only because students unnecessarily fear maths. Fear & anxiety makes understanding it even more difficult. Maths like physics is pretty logical so I cannot usually get why people loathe it so much. Except that some maths teachers were pretty awful communicating the subject.

Nobody is bad in maths really. When well explained, most get it. Like my friends we used to help out at school.
Teachers should make learning maths fun for students. It is their duty.

For the first time this year, you made sense. Continue to grow in wisdom. My maths wasn't exceptionally bad but when I went in for masters, i realised thar i was gifted enough to have made a first class in maths if I had taken it as a single honours course. It's so logical a course that if teachers knew to impact, students will do very well.

I have complimented you ooo, don't turn it to a fight.

Mathematics is the easiest subject I've come across. With my dad, as my foundation teacher, u can't but love Maths. He made me and my sisters study Lacombs (the green and red one) and solve almost all the exercises in them. God bless my papa. He rocks! kiss

P.S: I wonder why some pple hate Maths with passion, shebi it's only just to calculate. cheesy

Lacombs shocked shocked pls ma how old are you
the last time I saw or used that book was in the early 80's ,dad used it to setup my maths foundation

if u get flogged today, u wouldnt want to get flogged tomorrow. hence, students will do all they can to make sure they dont get low marks either by copying the note of the brilliant student when it has been submitted and no1 is in the staff room or you study hard and hope your answers are correct.

God bless my maths teachers Mr F A Oludele in primary school, and Mrs Shittu, Mr Kakra, Mr Taiwo aka Solution and Mr Telufusi in secondary school.
They made me love maths and realise that maths is actually the simplest subject.
May you all live in peace and good health. I love you all.
