Did jesus command it & say do it in remembrance of me like Lord supper
Is the priest our Saviour or Jesus
Is through the putting of ash that cleanses our sin... What about d blood of Jesus that was shared on the cross.
Enough of all this jamboree & idol worship. Lent has been observed even before the bible was formally canonised as preparation for Easter- you can't just throw away valid chrisian tradition because it doesn't fit with your particular modern tradition. DID YOU READ THE PORTION OF THE BIBLE WHERE THE ISRAELITES WERE BITTEN BY SNAKE IN THE WILDERNESS AND GOD COMMANDED MOSES TO MAKE AN IMAGE OF A SERPENT ON A POLE, THAT ANYONE WHO LOOKS UPON THE IMAGE WILL BE SAVED.
NOW MY QUESTIONS TO YOU ARE:
1. WHY WERE THEY BITTEN BY THE SERPENT
2. WHY DID GOD ASK THAT AN IMAGE BE MADE SINCE HE "FORBIDS IT", DOES THAT MEAN GOD IS CONTRADICTORY?
3. IS IT THE IMAGE THAT SAVED THEM FROM DIEING FROM THE SNAKE BITES?
IF YOU OR ANYONE ANSWERS MY QUESTIONS THEN I WILL ADDRESS YOUR IGNORANCE ON THE USE OF IMAGES BY CATHOLICS.
IN THE INTERIM PLEASE KNOW THAT CATHOLICS DON'T WORSHIP IMAGES if you are a good bible reader later the Israelites started worshipping that molded serpent and God was angry with them. |
