Northerners ... bragging since 1914 - and 1970. They had better watch it though. Were a massive conflict the scale of that of the late '60s ever afflict the nation again, the conditions that favoured them then won't now as all man don shine eyes. |

"Speaking with Sunday Telegraph, Chairman of the Forum and former Inspector-General of Police, Alhaji Ibrahim Coomassie, said much as there is nothing wrong or unusual about the current alliances and fence-mending among prominent groups, the election will be determined by the people". will be determined by the PEOPLE....Simple English! |

I have monitored events within the Nigerian space, and I have come to the conclusion that the only way out is for the nations within the entity called Nigeria to either fashion how they want the entity to be structured or go their separate ways. I do not want to begin to cascade the very many injustices visited by the “State” on the same people that fund its existence. Only a dishonest or very ignorant person will say that the need to restructure the entity is not immediate. For the regions to begin to organize themselves and evince a solution that will make them to thrive and ensure that their properties and lives are secured. Like minds must regroup, societies have evolved using this age-old system. Giuseppe Garibaldi unified Italy, leading one thousand volunteers to drive away the bourbons. I hope we do not get to that level. |

At times I still wonder y Nigerians still live on the idealogy of tribal leadership instead of clamoring for good governance. Let it be know by all...that there is no such group in Nigeria as second class citizen. An Igbo is very free to via for Nigeria President. After all, the great Ojukwu contested but lost and couldn't even win is region. |

DrDeji20:No. Each time Yorubas collabo with Hausas its always with a genuine reason. Igbos always put themselves into a diff situation that makes the Yorubas to easily support Hausas. But come 2019, we are ready to support Igbos as long as they prove they can rule well with their actions from now. |

DrDeji20:This is a typical example of when shame prevents you from identifying proudly with your tribe and you have to fake a name just to blend in with people of a different tribe. You are ashamed of your Igbo heritage, aren't you? Well, I'd be too if I were you. |

DrDeji20:You don't understand what is going on. The south as a whole is clamouring for restructuring because it will benefit everyone. The major reason why the North is against restructuring or separation of this entity called Nigeria is because they will be the biggest losers. Now if we are to restructure, how will the Fulani benefit since they are actually not really Nigerians since they are more of immigrants? That's where the major conflict is coming in. Buhari is a Fulani that's why he didn't hesitate to throw the restructuring concept to the dustbin immediately. They will never support it. But the truth is that we need restructuring or the North and south goes their separate ways. |

A lot of y'all hate for the average northerner is ill-founded. Yet you expect a reasonable person to join you in the hating game, are you okay? You guys hate the Yoruba's because most of them are unlike you frustrated, bile-filled bigots. @ topic, this could be true or untrue; the average core northerner is capable of saying shit like this. Over the years, I've learnt to look past what they say because most of them cannot think beyond blood, politics and religion. Stupid people living amongst us no be new thing.
How diabolical and hypocritical can an afonja be Your statement above showed how 2faced and unstable Yorubas are... hence you are truly a conehead scratched face afonja... |

| Re: Ibrahim Coomassie: Igbo And Yoruba Can’t Determine 2019 Elections by DrDeji20(m): 9:53am On Mar 06, 2017 |
Dindondin:supporting the igbos will not really address the issues of Nigeria. the solution lies in understanding the interest of the poor Nigerian citizens and since it's become mandatory to understand the culture and religious affiliations of the people, it's better for all regions to attend to thier problems individually, otherwise the igbos will equally fail to address the problem with Nigeria. |

The true voice of the people are gradually coming up. A situation where another state use the hard earned resources gotten from states like Lagos or Delta to prepare their own state budget for over 40years now without results is faudlent and must be repeal to allow each state to grow in diversity. I want my state to grow. Support real change for Nigeria for a greater future. |

All these tribal leaders should go and sleep...2019 will be decided by Nigerians but one thing sure, Buhari, Osinbajo and APC are no option. |
