For those that want to read and analyse the "Vision 2020" of the Buhari/Osinbajo administration for themselves, feel free to download the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan from the Fed. Min. of Budget National Planning website:

There is hope for Nigeria.

Nobody cares because it's not sensational. Just numbers facts and data instead of tribalism and political drama.

And two months down the line, this category of folks will come here with lamentations of 'no plan, no blueprint, directionless govt, oohhh, uuhhh, aahh'.

Five hours and counting after OP, three commentators and five comments. Why should one wonder that the entire board is littered with all manners of dimwitted contributions?

So? Is this the first time the federal government would be making such a plan?

There is no real recovery or growth plan, just same insulting propaganda since 1960s. The govt has sensed that oil price will be stable for the foreseeable future and will merely use proceeds of oil to fund the same oil sharing system.
Until we make laziness less attractive by floating the Naira and channel funds hitherto used to subsidize dollar to industrialize, we are heading for nowhere at full speed.

True they always have plan but implementation is rare. I'm not going to hold my breath because they aren't credible. Political will too make changes means them go to the free market and to states. I agree about restructuring/resources control. They should also float currency but that's no where in plan aswell.
