TRANSACTION OFFICERS FOR A LEADING BANK IN NIGERIA

The Transaction Officer is responsible for selling the banks services to customers.

Key Responsibilities
o To attend to all customers’ enquiries and sell competitive products/services
o To offer sales advice on products/services to customers
o Build and maintain effective customer relationship
o To strategically engage in active selling of products/services and close sales opportunities
o Support and provide superior service to customers via phones, e-mails and faxes as a receiver and caller

Competence Requirement
o Good communication skills
o Interpersonal skills
o Strong Selling skills


Qualification
o HND holders Only
o Minimum of Upper Credit
o Must have completed NYSC
o Maximum of 28 years

Remuneration and Benefits
o. Salary is very attractive
o Medical Insurance(HMO)
o Pension

Why do the so called Nigerian employers make the lives of some unemployed folks so frustrating?

Everyday when I have the time to browse through job vacancies I see the deliberate attempt of employers in sugar-coating a marketing position with sugary nomenclature, how funny!

Tell the unemployed folks that you are seeking for a MARKETER and stop this "Transaction officer" hogwash! There are people who are not temperamentally or psychologically suited for a marketing job role so its better you spell it out so as not to waste such people's time from applying. Its not everyone who can handle a marketing role no matter how good their grades are.

Lastly, why is it that when its such marketing positions like these employers just invite everyone to come with their CV's like its a church crusade or something but when the cool positions come up you guys share it among the relatives of the employers, what a country!
