Just a few decades ago, the vast majority of work-at-home job opportunities were far from profitable. And before the dawn of the Internet, it was much harder to sort through the scams and the real opportunities. As the old adage goes: “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” But is it?

In 2017, the questionable work-at-home jobs are still out there. But improvements in technology and the birth of social media have ushered in a new wave of such jobs that are actually legitimate. The Internet has made it even easier to work part-time from home.

As a banker or someone fully employed in a company can you adjust your schedule to have say 2 hours a day working on a passive income at home? If you are already working part-time at home how profitable is it?

I really want to work from home because I find most people to be annoying, I enjoy my alone time, and if I get got to get dressed then I don't want to go somewhere I don't want to be... I want to wear the clothes I like, not have to pretend to like people that I don't like, and most of all I like being at home where everything I like can be found.

Working from home is tough, daunting and tasking.

1. Blogging.
2. Bulk Sms sales and distribution.
3. Web designing.
4. Graphics and animation.
5. Writing and proof reading.
6. Even food delivery business.
7. Currency sales.
8. Internet marketing.

I work from home and earn as much as I need.

It takes a lot but you gotta be smart... You need to have some cash stash, be resourceful, always have eyes for what's up... And if you're a blogger, you can earn as much by just staying home and spamming the fvck outta nairaland

I work 3 days from home.

I have coworkers that live in Mexico and just come into the office two days a week. Sometimes I wish Nigeria was closer as there's nothing stopping me from living in Nigeria and still keeping my US job.

I am always working AT home.

It is the best as even many billionaires have a mini office at home.

I'm an introvert so I'll like to work from home but it will get boring too.
I think it's better to go out, see people, breath in fresh air. That way you won't stay cooped up all the time.

The company I work for doesn't have a Nigerian presence so you can't apply but I could work out of Nigeria if I chose. Just need power and high speed data.

They do have offices in India though
