To those who have salvation/relationship with God which they so much cherish and purity of heart which must never be defiled, the post is very sensible sir. Thank you.

In the medieval times, Doctors/physicians were seen as unclean. They were outcasts according to the Jewish laws which is why Luke was an outcast.

Jesus deliberately associated with outcasts to prove and deliver a message.

And Jesus teaching was all about reversing all that way of thinking. He accepted the prostitutes (outcast), Adulterers (outcasts), Tax collectors/agberos.

In summary, no profession is bad. It is all about your intentions. And if you can't stand the heat, don't go near the kitchen.

I repeat it again, you're not a doctor, so, you are only assuming, you are not speaking from a position of knowledge, you're speaking from a position of ignorance.
Every doctor that comes across a gynecology/obsteric case MUST EXAMINE his patient. And that is basically "fumbling with their sensitive organs" like you so eloquently said.
So, by your logic, a born again Christian can't become a practising medical doctor.
Hahaha you're just so funny cheesy

Seriously a born again christain should not even be any type of physician because that is like fixing the creation of God (Man) with earthly knowledge. That is like throwing shades at God, which itself is a sin. I think people should just go to church for healing, checkups and so on.
This is quite ridiculous

There is nothing unholy about treating the sick of any gender but there is definitely something wrong with looking at the naked body of the opposite sex and touching their sensitive organs as part of one's job. It is defiling and unholy sir. Thanks.
There's nothing wrong using a knife to cut vegetables, but there's everything wrong in using a knife to slit someone's throat.

It's all about intent.

A woman's nakedd body should not be regarded for lust only.
That body consists of blood vessels, nerves, muscles and if something goes wrong it needs to be fixed.
EXAMINING IS DIFFERENT FROM FONDLIiNG!

Even as a student, you must work with dead bodies, and cut every part of the body open to understand how the body works.

Even the woman with issue of blood went to Jesus(man)

For the fact that the op sees the female body as majorly lustful is even worse.

Brother there is no amount of effort of any human that will take them to heaven, it is only by the grace. u cannot be too careful God perfect whom he wants to perfect. If there are no gynecologist and our women are suffering, who commit more sin? because Esekiel 8 vs 22 said are there no oil balm in Gilead are there no physician there why are my people dying in sickness. Gynecologists is like any other profession So be what u have passion for because u will sin less than when u go for what u did not like and u start regreting there by commiting more sin than u wanted to avoid

Go ahead if you're qualified.. every women before you except your wife are your potential patient and your profession qualify you to treat them.. fiddleness is part of your training to ascertain some levels.. not playing as you thought. God sees your heart that part of what you about to do is also life saving course, is work of God, is also preaching in another dimension.. You will make heaven forget about all the gimmick stories ..Why is some well organized churches have their own hospital like Baptist, the Apostolic and many that I can't remember now.. are you wiser than them or the doctors are not going to make heaven.?

Madame, nobody is calling any part unholy. Matt 15:18-20

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”

The question was directed to male believers. Can you still go back home with a pure and unthinking mind after examining that ripe and beautiful breasts. Can you still go back home knowing your heart has not been assaulted with those beautiful images.

You are telling us your feeling. You can never known the thought of a man.

Abeg, go look bush. Better yet, mind your business. You wanna know if male doctors get aroused by the sick and often diseased vagina they treat.

Madam grow up. Medicine and human health is bigger than all that

Seriously, i can refer you to one if you wish to, why cant we have a christian gynechologist, who will be there to advice those young girls that will come to do something deterimental, one thing i know is that, in every profession you found yourself, the content of your heart matters alot, what you think and what you reason are the things that can actually affect, being a gynechologist doesnt mean you should now turn yourself to something else.... dont we have bankers that do thesame, just train your heart, thats the most important thing

Well, the non doctors have come here and displayed their ignorance. Nigerians, ignorant, proud of it and not afraid to show it.
A believer can be a gynecologist because, by the letter of the law, a male gynecologist should have a female chaperone in the room while examining a patient. He can stimulate the clitoriszzzzzzzx to check the nervous system as far as the chaperone is there.
Besides, doctors see the human body as a specimen or a piece of meat to be rather blunt, they are looking for answers on that "piece of meat".
After handling so many breasts and vaginas, they get desensitized to it.
So, any doctor still trying to arouse a patient or gets sexually aroused in the presence of a chaperone is a sexual deviant.
So, your questions have been answered.
*Drops Mic*
Ladies if your gynecologist is stimulating your clit "to check your nervous system" you need to find a new gynecologist. undecided

*throws mic at doctors face and kicks him in the balls*

My born again Christian male gynecologist who stood by me through thick and thin ,infertility, miscarriages and pregnancy and yes he did many examination and treatment through the parts you called unholy not for fun but because they are needed for procreation. And procreation is the work of God. Did I mention that he prays over his cases. Yes,he has now been made a consultant and I'm so proud of him. How many female gynecologist do we even have? When did society even allow women to start aiming high? If not for the males who veered into that career early enough more women will die in pregnancy and childbirth. I have been treated by females(thrice) and they are not even better. I remember during my postpartum issues,it was the female who left me and went home not minding that I was bleeding. Whereas I thought she would have been more compassionate. God bless all responsible gynecologist(male & female). You are a gift to mankind. And if you are a Christian ,better.

God bless you real good.

@CatfishBilly and others who have made some good sense, I say kudos to you all!!!.

We are proud of who we are, we don't fumble with the opposite s3x's privy, we treat our patients with maximum respect, when we are in there we are looking for answers, we are looking for solutions to problems!

It is only a pervert that will see postpartum hemorrhage (bleeding) and be thinking of fumbling with the Instruments....we are gynaecologists, we are proud we are!!!

Cheers!!!

There's nothing wrong with it.

What many people don't understand is that you would have seen enough as a medical student, even before you start your residency programme in gynaecology. Medical students are trained to physically examine patients too, and they do it from the start to the end of their clinical years. Physical examination of a patient should not be a big deal for any male gynaecologist, unless he has moral issues..

Furthermore, doctors are being careful these days. You see, patients now have an increased knowledge of their rights, and a patient could file a sexual harassment suit against a doctor should he try nonsense with her. She could make millions of Naira off him.

You are quite correct that a woman's body should not be regarded for lust only. You imply that lust is possible but shouldn't be the only goal of a gynaecologist. My thread is to ensure that lust is prevented from being part of the objectives, knowingly or inadvertently. As for the woman with the issue of blood who went to Jesus for healing, there was no case of perusing her nudity or handling of any part of her sensitive organs. So it is over the bar. I don't have any problem with you. I'm only passing a message to my fellow believers to beware. I believe they understand. I don't know how that offends you personally sir. All the same, thanks you very much for your contribution.
