How will they confirm him when The Senate President is a criminal under investigation and prosecution. Also Magu fall hand. -39 million to rent and furnished apartment for 2 years is a waste. -flying first class for lesser hajj ? That is 2 much and lesser hajja is not compulsory. If he paid 2milion Naira for flight alone. Can we know how much his salary is ? |

Romberg "Imagine, he couldn't even make a proper response. Criminals like him will hire professionals to prepare a document such as this. In all his explanation, it is easy to conclude that he is guilty as charged. Your replacement has been appointed. You know the right thing to do because you have accused others for similar and more trivial issues. Instead of handing over all the official documents in your possessions, you kept all of them in your office bag at home. The new appointee could not work until you were arrested. You have lost your official mandate to operate in any investigation yet you claim you were investigating people. In the end, the entire case was compromised. That you were readmitted to the police force does not evacuate your guilt in the EFCC. Isn't that clear? You were not exonerated by the EFCC! An indictment is an indictment. If it's not vacated even if become the president thereafter, expect nemesis to bite you at any time. Which civil servant stays in a rented apartment of N40m? He confirmed it! Who flies a N3m ticket as a civil servant in Nigeria? By admitting that he used his own money for the flight, he belongs to the same class as Ngwuita who is under prosecution for earning N45m in 5 years but was accused to have spent over N300m in 9 months. It is beyond Magu's legitimate income to buy N3m ticket. It confirms double lifestyle as alleged. A poor man doesn't fly first class. Under your leadership, documents went missing to the extent that a seized property is being sold. Yet you say you are competent? And you want to remain in the post. If Buhari doesn't see all these as corruption, tell me he understands whatever it means actually? It's even worse for someone who claimed to be a Deputy Director of an organization to claim he doesn't know the inner workings of the organization. He's a member of the Senior Leadership Team of the EFCC for goodness sake! Is he denying that Lamorde brought him back or that he didn't have influence during that regime; yet he succeeded Lamorde? Shameless liar! This man knows no shame. Head back home. Don't expose yourself any more. Just resign. No be by force. If someone doesn't leave the seat, no one would have known a 'czar Magu'. Give another person a chance. Let us all move on" |

SuperS1Panther:So it's the legislators that forced the DSS to write those reports abi? The same DSS headed by a man chosen by Buhari himself, is that what you're trying to say? ©YBR |

When I see people talk about Magu being competent, I wonder if the job of the EFCC has been changed. Isn't he supposed to prosecute APC and PDP members? How can any patriotic Nigerian say someone that's on a witch-hunt mission for the Buhari is competent? |
| Re: What Magu Told Buhari On SSS Allegations by YoungBlackRico(m): 9:31am On Mar 18, 2017 |
dammytosh:I don't fancy Saraki but I think people need to leave sentiment and face the real issue here. It wasn't the Senate President or the Senate that wrote those reports by DSS (the same DSS headed by a man chosen by Buhari himself) Also Magu fall hand. 3 million approximately bro. And 40 million for a rented apartment for an official working in that kind of organization? Haba na. This man should just go and sit down abeg. ©YBR |

TonyeBarcanista:I know u to be cerebral, but this attempt is below .go back again and read what Folashade bello wrote to the 2 different arms of govt and u will understand that the two clearance note are essentially this same .one tothe senate was without doubts and the one to the AGF was with doubts (exact word can be given a second chance)essentially that is the way security clearance report are done.just like law if there is a doubt convection is always difficult that is why u have both criminal and civil prosecution, case in point OJ Simpson for the criminal prosecution he was deemed innocent but the civil prosecution he was deemed guilty.so essentially it behoves on the executive to have change mr .magu when the tone of clearance suggest doubts. |

It's so obvious that there's a lot of underhand dealings in the Presidency regarding this Magu confirmation. All the President need do is call everyone to order and firmly put his feet down regarding what he wants accomplished. |
| Re: What Magu Told Buhari On SSS Allegations by aolawale025: 9:42am On Mar 18, 2017 |
DSS report apart. Magu's performance at the senate screening was poor. He couldn't even mention how much he has "recovered" |

HOUSE RENT, EXTRAVAGANCE, CONTROVERSIAL TIEShe was accused of paying rent for N40 million for 2 years + additional N43 million for furnishing, that's 83million Magu's response is That the total & correct sum is N39million Pls how much is Magu's salary? even if it's an official residence, why spend that high knowing it's public funds? |
| Re: What Magu Told Buhari On SSS Allegations by HonabFaj(m): 9:50am On Mar 18, 2017 |
Let be sincere, all these allegation against Magu are nothing to query him about. What is this SSS director general smoking, they need to investigate him too |

Rexleo:What exactly is the stance of the Presidency and the APC in this Magu issue? This whole drama only show a picture of a confused president my brother. If (as claimed) the AGF, who is the Chief law officer has cleared Magu then on what ground did the DSS rely on? A sane President will either dismiss the DSS boss for undermining him or sack the AGF for misleading him. Whichever be the case. head(s) must roll. |

gratiaeo:thank you for understanding this whole thing better.leave the biased people with sentiment. Look at his own defense of acquisition simply he nailed himself .you investigating someone you sit on the same committee, you fly in his private jet,he paid ur rent and you are telling us you can do ur job without fear or favour pls tell that to ur wife and kids.I will give u another example in IBORI,he was taken to courts in naija but never found guilty because then Andoaka was his counsel and the same Aandoaka became the AGF and u expect IBORI in jail. stop Kidding urself guys.in the UK IBORI took plea deal for a shorter sentence. Go and read the judgment the moral aspect of it.the judge said here is a man that should not even be any where near a govt building talkless of a governor. |

kuuljay:first look yourself in the mirror bro. When the judges home were ransacked, you guys saw the DSS as the best thing that ever happened to us. Not that I care but I'm just irritated by the 'stupid' politics being played in Nigeria. More irritated by the fact that ordinary Nigerians are taking part in it. |
