Its only common sense that Magu is supposed to cease being the EFCC acting Chairman the moment his second nomination failed "integrity" (sic) test and was rejected.

One cannot act forever Na. The whole essence of "appointment" into acting position is so that one can be made a substantive Chair by legislative ratification, after a period of satisfactory conduct in acting capacity.

Magu cannot be the only one that can do that job. PMB should as a matter of urgency get another untainted acting chair, but then ..........

The ex governor now senator has so much looted his state treasury that the state lost its balance two years after he left the office they still cannot pay their workers salary, the ex governor was known to be throwing money around when he was on the seat, he spent less time in his state, throw dollars around in Abuja, sponsored celebrities wedding both within Nigeria and outside Nigeria. He was a known waster and looter.

The senator is still having a strong grip on his state, he still manipulate the governance and dictate things there, he masterminded the massive rigging of election in the state during the last general elections and the rerun there and he sponsored the political violence in the state that led to the lost of lives of many.

So, magu has suddenly woken up. I guess he has been sleeping and allowed those case files lie untouched. So because he is experiencing stiff resistance to his confirmation now make him to fight back? This goes along way to suggest that magu him self is corrupt too for not acting long ago. In addition, what has Magu done against Dambazau, Kyari, and Buratai Or is this a case of selective Judgement and partisanship? Pathetic! I support the fight against corruption but with sincerity of purpose irrespective of party inclination, tribe, region and religion. The independence of state institutions, the principle of separation of power and upholding the constitution at all times will go along way in advancing this nation.
