TonyeBarcanista:the AGF does not and can not write a clearance report, can only give advice on a clearance report written by an agency of govt empowered to do so e.g. the code of conduct bureau or case in point the DSS.since the tone of the clearance report suggest doubts he should have been dropped. But this mad people all have a game to play with the soul of the country. We are the only set of people in the world that prevaricates. |

Misleading title.. what Magu told Buhari.. Is that what Magu told him.. or compilation of conspiracy and hunting game within and outside EFCC, that has been using DSS as hatch hammer ?Let Baba do the needful otherwise I am giving 100% to Aisha"s words. |

Rexleo:Ordinarily, I assumed that the AGF took his position after hearing from the involved parties. But if it be that wasn't the case then the he should do the honourable thing by resigning. if it be that the DSS gave a position of benefit of doubt to the AGF as claimed by Magu and turn around to give an indicting verdict in their report to the Senate, then the DSS boss should be relieved of his duty. Heads have to roll! This Presidency is more confused than its predecessor |

Oh God! The funny and annoying thing about this Magu's issue is that many of us know nothing about Magu. We blindly support or reject people without making any effort to look into their antecedence. Many of us for or against Magu do not know things about him. How can a man who doesnt know Magu's full name, his present rank in d police, if he is even a police officer or not and his state of origin support or condenm him. I over heard a man today passionately condemning Magu. I asked him the meanings of EFCC and ICPC, he became mute, confused and ashamed because he couldn't answer this simple question. So my brothers and sisters, on which basis is this man condemning Magu? The same man called DG Ali an ordinary Colonel. I then asked him to tell me 2 ranks in the army before Colonel and after Colonel and he again became mute. I think one should know the criteria and number of years an army officer must have served to be made a colonel before calling a whole colonel rank ordinary. Whether Buhari retains Magu as acting chairman oh ,Senate confirms him later oh or Buhari replaces him oh, make EFCC do their work. For Ali, if u wear uniform u no go die. For senators, if Ali no wear uniform una no go die and if Ali wear uniform wetin go happen? Which way Nigeria dey go. Make we allow NAAS and the presidency to solve these problems abeg. Buhari and APC una don use lie lie pursue PDP and Jonathan and all the promises we still dey wait. Jonathan, PDP and all bad belly for we country, make una sorry. Buhari again, u don try to dey pursue all the thief them but ur pursue dey cause us more wahala, allow the thief them make Baba God judge them and start from here to block any other thief. The fight don too much. Make we all work togther for better country. |

TonyeBarcanista:. What we. Are saying is that the benefit of doubts ordinarily disqualify him from holding the office but the benefit of doubts equally benefit him for any other elective appointment in future. There is no need for the DSS director to resign because that is the standard practice of writing a clearance report, the objective is geared towards authority not for the character in focus. |

Magu was suspended 20 months case investigated and he got reprimanded not exonerated and yet he was reinstated and promoted. Is that not strange. |

Let the courts find Sarrki guilty then we can talk about him. INEC too then has a role to play and the Constitution. Are corrupt ppl allowed to seek election to offices? Or hold political or govt appointments. If no law against them then there is a problem. The Senate did their job well in the case of Magu I must say and let the courts to do their own jobs well with any case brought before them. No sentiments, Magu got what he deserved |

All I see is that the Senators are no more on the defensive side. They have resolved to be attacking. Recall that Executive started attacking the ambition of some Senators with falsification of Senate rules, Code of Conduct Bureau inconsistency which landed the Senate President in trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. Look, the Senator have recovered from the shock and decided to launch attack to save their heads too. This is the point of corruption fighting back. |

masterpiece86:Buhari now has all the evidence he needs to make Magu the first efcc chair that will be charged to court for corrupt practices. From accepting private jet freebies from a crime suspect, and accepting palatial mansions as inducements from Umar, a known man-friend of dem dem unchained mad dog identifiers, to helping fake pastor fake professor (no phd) Osinbajo and Aisha Halliburton of Za Oda Room bury Dumebi Kachikwu's petrodollar scam. This is the biggest test of Buhari's integrity, and he is about to fail. |

When OBJ was serious at fighting Corruption Ribadu really performe even when he was being accused of fighting his opponent, but thank God those corrupt enemies. We have also seen the seriousness in this Administration, but so glaring that the Senate wanted to be spared, so let PMB present another candidate well qualified. |
| Re: What Magu Told Buhari On SSS Allegations by ivandragon: 6:50am On Mar 20, 2017 |
while the DSS & Senate might have their own selfish reasons for going against Magu, the fact remains that the Ag. EFCC chairman has a case to answer. for those defending the allegations against Magu, they obviously don't know the salient implication of the whole house rent issue. the accommodation & furniture for the EFCC chairman has been monetized. what this means is that, IF Magu was collecting accommodation & furniture allowances while still staying in a house rented & furnished by the EFCC or any other government agency, then he has committed an offence by knowingly defrauding the federal government. Magu has to prove that deductions where made from his accommodation & furniture allowances inorder to justify the expenditure on his rented accommodation. |
