SHALOM!

Ex-Navy and Engineering School dropout LAFAYETTE RONALD HUBBARD was a prolific writer in most genres, using multiple pseudonyms, so that his name would not dominate bookshelves. He is best known for his SCIENCE FICTION writing and editing, and detractors use that against him as a slur.

He claimed to have been apprenticed to a PIKUNI (Blackfeet) Indian Shaman at the age of nine. Later in life, he was involved with the notorious Occultist ALEISTER CROWLEY (died 1947), founder of modern SATANISM, and pejoratively called "THE MOST WICKED MAN IN THE WORLD." Detractors claim that these associations never happened.

After the War, L. Ron Hubbard resolved to create a system of Mental Healing that would help Mankind in general. At the end of his research, he hired a Registered Nurse to act as his assistant, "wrapped a towel around his head," and "posed as a SWAMI," (Asian Indian Mystical Teacher), in order to get people to willingly allow him to use his experimental counselling techniques on them, at their own risk.

These patients were his first CLEARS. People whose REACTIVE MINDS had been DISCHARGED, so that their Mental Ability was not impaired by SubConscious Traumatic Memories.
