For more than ten years, there have been various contractors with their equipment around that 9th mile corner area but the road remains the same or even worse.

Even Owerri/Port Harcourt road is now a smooth ride.

The road has been bad for more than 10 years. I am not talking about 2014. Lots of lives have been wasted especially around the 9th mile (ugwu onyeama). In 2010, i wouldve sustained serious bodily harm because of a huge pot hole i tried to avoid some metres after Ekochin hospital.

The road is a death trap. Politics shouldn't be played with people's lives. The road is a priority.

Does awarding contract on paper build a road or does releasing the money for the job fix the road?...

After awarding the contract, did GEJ release the money meant for the road to be fixed?... and if he did, what happened to the money?

You claimed that Buhari came in and stopped the contracts, please remind us of how much money GEJ released for this road contract in his 2015 budget?.... Having in mind that in the 2015 capital budget, the ministry of Works had less than N20 billion for projects across the entire nation?

Now if money was not budgeted to pay contractors building the road in 2015, how were the contractors supposed to work? what were they supposed to work with?.. How come you now blame Buhari when the owed contractors abandoned the site but you glorify GEJ at the same time?... Can't you see the bizarreness of your hypocrisy?

I understand this story is peddled because you love GEJ but for once in your life, quit the self deceit and kiss the truth. GEJ ruled for 5 years, next to nothing was done about this road.
