goldfish80:I tire o coz i no understand.A player was named man of d match and somebody was saying d guy was too damn poor in that particular match. I just asked Michael2 to tell me how d guy was poor,i even try to compare Kanu's Atlanta game against Brazil to Uzoenyi match against Morocco coz they did d same thing in different ways,d two had a quiet game until 70 mins plus when they turned d game around. Naming Uzoenyi man of d match in that particular match and player of d tournament was not a joke but trying to rubbish d achievement of d boy is some thing i don't understand but sometimes we view football in different ways. My man u have a good point and your analysis is precise on Uzoenyi's performance against Morocco. |

Danycrusoe:I don't think it's right. Because Portugal allowed him ownership of Fierence doesn't make it OK. Portugal is renowned for endorsing so many shady deals in football. They allow 3rd party ownership/purchase of players which is illegal in most countries. I don't think such arrangement will be permitted in England. |

forgiveness:When the league has not even reached half way? Ikechukwu Ezenwa has been an outstanding goalie in the NPFL for a couple of seasons. Mustapha Aliko keeping more clean sheets doesn't mean he is better than Ezenwa. By your argument na make Rohr invite Aliko na abi? I have always told you that statistics does not tell all the story. Dey there they always shout Nepotism. You are always quick to remember what part of the country any player is from. |

forgiveness:best goalies to me is not by how many cleansheets but by how many saves made The defense might be rock solid making it impossible for goals to enter doesn't make the keeper the best Can I please have the number of saves by each goalkeeper?? |

Hmm, been observing for a while now, I had to come in concerning the NPFL players and why they should be invited or not. In as much as I would love to have a full home based team, we must be truthful to ourselves, the NPFL is growing but not there yet. I would have used the caf champions league but some will say it is not fair. Okay how about the super six tournaments. The fact is, if you are struggling against u20s and to be honest Garba Manu really exposed them some years back then I am sorry you are not ready for the big stage. Over the last 10years all our top strikers with the exception of musa have faded. If you even watch the trend, players straight from our academies have performed far better. Not playing down Odey, but is he so exceptional to be called into the SE or we sha want a local boy in the team. Where is anekes and the likes? Now what does our team need right now? I would say defenders and a good back up goalkeeper. Can the NPFL provide such, I really doubt that. My opinion is if we can't make any progress in caf champions league then I am sorry maybe we should face Europe. The golden era of the Egyptian team had most of their players in the local teams but we were seeing it at the level of the caf competitions. I believe the NPFL is on the rise but I have seen more academy products do better than NPFL. Oh least I forget, the age issue is a real problem that needs to be solved |
