MY Toyota Sienna Backfires And Drags every Morning by kawkab(op): 6:39pm On Mar 23, 2017*

I use a Toyota Sienna 1999 model.
Every morning or after packing for a very long time and I start the Car it drags and when you try accelerate it back fires (loud pooping sounds). After sometime it pick and start moving normally.

I have changed my fuel pump and replaced the sets of plug yet the same problem keeps reoccurring.

Car experts kindly advise on the proper step/action to take.

Is your thermostat intact?

The thermostat have been removed a long time ago. When the thermostat was removed, it did not in anyways affect the performance of the car. This problem is a recent occurrence.
