youre the one that did not listen well.jamb reg #5000 novel #500 althogether 5500..which you're to pay to a bank that will create your profile which you take with proof of payment for registration at no additional cost.

I was directed to an office where you will create you jamb profile if you have not done yours for a fee of N100, I had already created an account before going to the school but I was told I will still pay the Hundred naira. I paid and then collected a JAMB registration template. I headed to the other office when the e-pins are bought and the application processed and I was told that everything is #6200, #5500 for the e-pin and #700 for the book. I was surprised because I read it online that it was #5500 for both the e-pin and book. I had no choice but to pay then I was given just the required novel IN DEPENDENT by Sarah Ladipo Manyika and nothing more, no jamb brochure, no syllabus. I asked for it but I was told I was too inquisitive that it's not available. I was told to come on Monday for thumb printing.

After everything I was just thinking deep, why is the price higher than the one slated by the exam board (JAMB)? why did they give me just a novel when I am entitled to other things? That was the questions running in my head when I left.

From wat you wrote you have not even been registered, if your registration was complete your biometrics would be captured. Wat do you need the brochure 4 after feeling your form, it is meant to guide you make correct choices, as for the syllabus, there are softwares and pass questions that can help you prepare for the exam better con the short time. Your main focus shud be your biometrics.

Yesterday too, they charged my cousin 7k for only registration and they created the profile but said we had to come back next week cause the site is not opening at that time... hmm

Jamb is fast going digital bro. There is nothing like huge compilatin of sheets of printed paper formerly called jamb brochure. The brochure is available in soft copy in jamb CD ROM.

And you did not hear from jamb that the approved online registration fee at the accredited centres is N700. Even online platforms that deal with admission news such www.myschool.com also cleared this confusion. Whenever you want to do anything be well informed about it. That is the first step to being successful. Your wailing is unwarranted.

This is Nigeria were mony thing are in short supply especially now there is recession. No one sells jamb CDROM. If he was not given for the reason of not being available, it is possible and could be true. Even WAEC sometimes defer giving of calculators to candidates till further notice.

I believe every nairalander has an email cos it's one of the requirements to register to this forum.so how can you go to a cbt centre to create an email and even worse a jamb profile.insert your email and password in the space accorded to it on the jamb portal and your profile creation is good to go

I stay in ilorin,the kwara state capital,among the centres available, i decided to go with a friend to the nearest center to our house,on getting there, there was a seemingly low turn out of potential Jambites,from that time onward my intuition keeps whispering an aberration to me.
I and my pal waited for some time(with other jambites),a man arrived and said we are to pay #5500 for jamb reg(including the novel,brochure e.t.c),#700 for mock(opptional) and another bizzare #700 for centre registration(which is an outright swindle)
I noticed some jambites didnt really have issue with the extra and unwarranted #700,but two things made both I and my pal decline:1,the cente did not look well equipped 2,i was so much convince i will regret it if i ever register at that centre.

Its clear u don't read instructions clearly... The official price is #6200... Matriculation Examination or Direct Entry is Five Thousand
Naira (₦5,000) only. Candidates are also, as usual, to pay
Five Hundred Naira (₦500) only to obtain the reading text-
“In Dependence” for UTME candidates = #5500... Then, As it is the practice, centres are allowed to charge not
more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) only as registration
fee. Any centre that charges more than Seven Hundred Naira
(₦700) should be reported to JAMB for appropriate
sanctions. = #700. 5500+700= #6200.
