This is a result of a global warming scientists have predicted a change in the weather system.... The poles of the earth are turning as we speak.... AFRICA AS A CONTINENT years from now will be at the north pole which is the colder region of the world there for a drastic drop in temperature leading to snowy rainfall, hailstorms, hurricanes and more...this is just a sign of many to come ... Earth is dying slowly

There was excitement in Ado Ekiti on Saturday as Hailstones known my many Nigerians as Snow fell from the sky during a rain
which began around 4 p.m. The residents, mostly students of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, and the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, took snapshots of the white solid substance.

Very common in Ekiti and Plateau states; may be due to being highlands. The two states and northern Cross River plus part of Taraba actually have the best climate and terrains in the country.

It is no big deal. We have experienced it here in Owena-Ondo twice this years. Though before now, the last time I saw it was about 28yrs ago. If it is a thing of pride, then Ondo State should be jubilating too.
In all, I think we all should be happy that good thing is about coming our way in Ondo/Ekiti State(s).
