Wow!! This couldn't have come at a much better time than now. Truely speaking from experience those 0.5 CGPA guys during my time were really the ones causing all sort of troubles in university, luring serious ones into cultism, molesting people just mention it. As for me I am of the view that universities weren't meant for everyone, so what I"ll suggest is that those set of people with skills should be sent to our technical schools and what this means is that those schools should be made attractive because the flip side of the matter is that if they are expelled and allowed to roam the streets they become a menace to society |

I have to agree with Buhari here. Not everyone is supposed to be in the university or any tertiary institution. What the government should do is strengthen our primary and secondary school system so that at the end, everyone has a strong foundation in education. For instance, most persons have the erroneous thought that you learn how to write the English language properly in the university, whereas that should have been taught exhaustively during high school. After your high school education, go into what you can handle and know very well so that you could succeed easily and within the shortest time possible. Examples of countries with such systems are Germany and The Netherlands. Modified: Why are people asking of his WAEC certificate?
