The person who promised almost four weeks is my person in there. The wrong time to apply for a passport would be now. The tension within the service is just too much, and some people are hell bent on paying more just to get their passport earlier than the one month.

Total bullshit scarcity my ass. I just pick up my passport last Friday at Nigeria high commission in London. After 5 months of waiting but people that pay for express are getting it within days so I don't get the logic no passport booklet but pay more money you get it asap. Also 64 page booklet is freely available. Things isn't working right in my country anymore it is well

This is shameful. They know they don't have the booklet, yet they are collecting money and capturing new applicant and leaving them in state of Limbo! People waiting for 5 -6 months to collect passport that they already pay for! Please God help us for 9ja ooo

Common passport booklet made of paper. Yet they'd go abroad to import the booklet. Cant they make the booklet in Nigeria? Nonsense. It was a miracle I got my booklet before I traveled last month. I had to push all the buttons I know. After applying and paying. Thankfully I got my passport at the last minute just before I traveled. That Immigration in Ikoyi, they don't know what they are doing really. The place is a corruption house. Officially the passport is 17.5k yet 90 percent of the applicants including me paid 35k.

No. If you'd be going by bus, just inform the conductor that you'd be alighting at 'Library Bus-Stop'. It is the bus-stop after ESBS, if you are coming from New Haven, that is.

Once you alight at the bus stop, cross over to the other side of the road and walk on straight, or better still, ask people for directions to the Immigration Office. It is very easy to locate once you alight at the bus-stop.

Immigration office in Enugu is located at Independent Layout, close to National Library and ESBS.

There are 4 different prices for Passport production in Enugu.

1. If you want to get your passport within 2 days, the price is N40,000.

2. If you want to get your passport in 2 weeks, the price is N30,000.

3. If you want to your passport in a month or 2 months, the price is N27,500.

4. You want to get your passport in 3 to 6 months time, the price is N25,000.

My younger paid N40,000 to get his passport on Monday, he applied on Monday and got it on Tuesday this week because he need it urgently.

to b sincere d NIS is very very corrupt more Dan d Nigeria police, if u know d amount of extortion going on there, u will know DAT Nigeria is in big trouble. nd I v told myself DAT if I get my passport nd I happen to obtain citizenship of anoda country, I will cease to use my Nigeria passport. Exact situation as myself. Change of data only and it's being 2 months. Had to recall my present passport to be able to travel back to base and courier it back to Abuja.
