Its the academic staff that can determine if a student graduates or not and the head of the academic staff (VC) has come out to say Dino graduated and you are still hoping they will prove the VC wrong. Do you think the VC is stupid? Even if Dino did not graduate, do you think the VC cannot cover the traces? I think you guys here are underestimating the powers and influence of the VC.

You can assume whatever you like. The fact is that its the school that determine who graduate and who don't. It doesn't matter if you wrote the exams or not. Once the school says you've graduated, your name is submitted to the senate. And that's final. Its not every graduate that passed the normal process in graduating and the worst part is that its impossible to investigate them out even if you were both course mates.
I've seen a situation where someone graduated with third class, he pleaded with the course adviser to lift him to second class, but the course adviser refused, only for the grade to be changed when it got to the senate and he was placed under the category of those with second class lower. Until this happened, I never believed it was possible.
