President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the names of three new NDDC Board Nominees to the Nigerian senate for the replacement of those rejected last year.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki stated this in a letter transmitted by the president at the plenary on Thursday.

They are Lucky Omirisan, Hon. Chuka and Nwogu N.Nwogu from Ondo, Imo and Abia States respectively.

The Nigerian senate had rejected 3 out of 19 NDDC Board nominees in October 2016 on grounds that they were not from oil producing areas in their respective states.

What the Senate is saying is that Buhari should have called Saraki yesterday night(for example) intimating him that he is sending a list today and needs it to be attended to urgently..

That's simply how the synergy and interpersonal relationship of the executive and legislative should be but I can bet that the president has not spoken with the SP for a week now.

Enough of the silence

Act where? Baba is battling for his health and you are asking him to act. Saraki and the Senate is the least of his problems now. He just want to be well and be able to eat well again.

The only a t he can act is to resign and go back to the UK to continue with his treatment. He just cancelled his trip on the advise of the cabal and at the expense of his own life. If he dies, he should know that these members of the cabal will switch loyalty and continue to hail another government.
