So what?, if it teaches her any lesson then it's a good move.

Extreme lessons like one court granting her freedom and another picking her up.

Common.

Most of these men of God are simply business men.

No long suffering or sacrifices.

What has she not said about Pastor Adeboye ?

Has he ever ordered her arrest ?

The last time I checked, DEFAMATION was still under the law of torts (civil case) and not a criminal offence.
I wonder what is going on in this regime!

Maybe I need more education, biko nu shocked

We all know that if her defamation had ruined his marriage and reputation you all won't be preaching these sermons.

I support the man's act. She deserves it!.

After committing punishable offences, these ediots will go about talking rubbish, with words like "and na pastor oo".

Why didn't you folks warned her when she was insulting a pastor and his church?

My kind of pastoral calling will beat the hell out of you first, then sit you down and preach God's word to you. Take it or not, you're at loss. I will first ensure you perish on earth first before showing you the road to hell.

Under which section of our penal code is she detained?

Is her offence of the gravity to warrant such detention for so long?

I thought such act usually falls under civil lawsuit (a tort) for defamation, slander and such.

Even defamatory libel (published/publicized defamation serious enough to injure or cause act of reprisal against the defamed) that is potentially a criminal offence is hard to uphold in a modern democratic society.

Legal experts should please enlighten us.

Lemme get you. As a man of God, with a congregation made up of different characters, personalities and receptiveness, he should allow her continue with the bullshit she is doing??

Christianity does not mean stupidity. He is a man of God, a husband, a father and he is also human. And one morning a blogger or whatever looking to make waves, that calls herself "an investigative journalist" (investigative being the underlined word) writes some cock and bull story should walk about freely, with no consequence for her actions.

There is freedom of whateva does not mean you just write bullshit about people; men of God or not.

Something bad and unfair has happened but then it's funny I don't feel so bad because the person at the receiving end totally had it coming.

I really find her a nuisance. But more importantly and overall, this is a spit on the face of judicial due process.
the judicial face has been spat on far too many times.... This one hardly even counts.... Somehow, I support it sef, everyone wants to come out and slander a pastor because it's 'fashionable'... Maybe they'll learn lessons now

Her father was saved from his demented daughter and only knew peace after she was imprisoned. In fact her family are jubilating over her detention., not to mention okada and napep riders that she used to fight in ibadan

A pastor that preaches forgiveness when he himself doesn't forgive.

Believe a pastor at your own peril.

Religion was made for the gullible minds indeed.
