If men were God they would send death to any person speaking against the faith. Some people even call Jesus a homosexual and yet they are still living. Haba pastor! The best would have been to continue with your work as time would vindicate you. You action has really left a sad taste in my mouth. May be CAN should arrest all those on NL calling pastors yahoo pastors.

However, the gullible followers are busy defending the pastor. Religion in Africa is a big scam.

Freedom of expression is a notable progress in the advancement of democracy. But freedom of expression does not warrant baseless, unwarranted character assassination.

The reason Christianity is dying is the secularization of the sacred and the non application of common sense in making jokes with God and the things of God. Modern media will make jokes of Christianity and we laugh and regards is normal.

But they do not try that with Islam and because of fear of reprisals. That's how we are dying. We must learn to have respect for limits. Any human being who goes against the law should be punished.
But to resort to indiscriminate and unwarranted outbursts on social media against anyone is unacceptable, especially if it's made to diminish the person and image of anyone and sometimes only to score cheap popularity.

The Pastor is not Jesus, Kemi Oluloyo has committed a crime punishable under the law and therefore must be made to enjoy the fruit of her labour.

Mummy Freeze is next!
Freeze, as much as i hate the mention of his name, is much more wiser in that he hardly calls out ppl. Kemi's case borders on the insane, she calls out anyone anyhow. She should face the music.

Am not a fan of Kemi but...

Supposing Kemi is right .....and the Pastor is trying to shut her up from revealing more....... by getting her detained in prison.

He must have met Kemi at the police station .. Why could he not confront her there ....... ask her questions...and demand a public apology if she was wrong ......

Not sure how it works ...
If she is a journalist ... didn't they have to go to court before charging her for defamation of character.....I would love to see the court video including the witnesses involved...

Did the police got in touch with Iyabo for questioning .... and everyone involved in the scandal...... before detaining Kemi ... and have they given her the chance to provide her own evidence in court .... before finding her guilty...and detaining her.

They arrested and re arrested her again ... probably cos she refused to shut up.. grin ...How do we know the Pastor is innocent ........ in the eyes of GOd ...... did he do it or not huh?.....

Iyabo has been a bit quiet thou.......Is she not coming to court as a witness huh..... may she could not be bothered about it ..

From this experience ........Kemi will learn to gather evidence before publishing stories about people .

Come to think of it,.When Sahara reporters published report on Dino regarding his Certificates . Dino came out to refute the statement and we all saw the videos. The Police did not detain any of the sahara reporters while he is preparing to take them to court.

So whats makes Kemi Versus Pastor s case different ?? .. why detain herhuh Supposing it was Sahara reporters that published the story .. would the police detain them and put them in prison uniform and parading as criminals before court judgement.

I begin to imagin what this so called man of God expect his members to do, wen someone wrong dem. Fight back physically or pray dat God should fight for dem. We Christians should always learn to leave vegance for God, for to err is human and to forgive is divine.

At least this woman is not a toddler and she is conscious of all the pains and anguish that her actions can cause. Yet honest human feeling did not stop her.

I don't think this is not what she's looking for all along: public sympathy to pitch one against the other, to be a heroin of some sort, to be persecuted.

She got what she has been toiling for, a prayer answered. Let her enjoy what God have for her at this point in time. God is a rewarder of all labour.

As long as the earth endureth, seedtime and harvest will not seize.

I know of Jesu Oyingbo and Olumba Olumba, but I am yet to read about the so called atrocities of Sat Guru Maharaj Ji. Can you give one or two clear examples of the said evils he has committed? If you can't then you are as guilty as Kemi Olunloyo.
Quite interesting if you have no knowledge of Guru maharaji. Have no knowledge where he had a place where he run his Assembly of followers at a place called IJU in Lagos?. He had battle with so many people before he moved to Lagos-Ibadan location. Have you no knowledge that he once claimed to be God? You can go verify that part of Lagos and his claim as well . He made a lot of people homeless in the late 80s and early 90s etc.

If that pastor is a man of God like he claimed to his church members, he will apologize to Kemi.

Some Christians don't even know the responsibilities of their doctrine
Appologise to. someone going about telling dirty news about you.
If you were in the shoe of the man of God you wouldnt have done what u are preaching.

You forgive someone who is remorseful that stops hurting you.

It is only anyone who comes to God with a repented heart that he forgives. You continue in your sin, you are gonning for the wrath of God.

Kemi should admit she has wronged the pastor and ask for forgiveness. Then if the man refuses to forgive her he is Evil but untill then the pastor is on the right track.

Enough of misconceptions about Christ teachings.

Let her learn from this and stop defaming ppl.

The good name I spent years to build someone wld now come and dip it in mud.

Not possible.

By their fruit, we shall know them. A real man of God won't go to court or arrest a critic of his personality. It only shows that the man has failed to ignore the woman who is controversially popular. And the more she get arrested, the more she becomes more popular. And the men of God loose their faces in the sight of men and God. After all, a sinless Jesus Christ was condemned and abused by many even the Pharisees and Sadducees were the arrowheads to Jesus Christ's crucifixion.

U be the biggest bible olodos!!!! A conscious continual deliberate attempt to drag the name of any Christian in the mug need to be resisted will all legal means. Forgiveness has nothing to do with this. This is an opportunity for Kemi to prove her assertions. That need to clear his name so that those he is leading will not have cause to doubt him. When otobo was speaking all manners of allegations people like you were masturbating and judging the man guilty
You're not a true Christian, so I don't expect you to understand.

He was a regular guest on Danladi Bako's Morning Ride in the late 1980s and early 1990s (as were Godspower Oyewole and Gabriel Okonzua). That's where he said that he is a reincarnation and that he is Jesus, Mohammed, Budha, etc reincarnated. It wasn't a quote. He said it on live tv.

Have you ever read where the bible says 'he that the father loveth he chastised?' If you are a good christian, then respect also the law of the land so it does not devour you.

What refrains you as a good Christian from acting like this woman? Consequences, shouldn't consequences take its tolls? Even this woman expected 'favourable consequences' from her posts, not forgiveness.

Is any human perfect apart from God ?. Even Jesus mentioned this precisely inside the scriptures to denounce anyone else to claim it apart from him. Prophet Muhammad didn't anytime mentioned himself as being perfect. Others Mentioned of yours or I know not much about their doctrine as such because they deal with honouring nature.

It's the pastor that claimed to be a man of God - he should exhibit that.

So, anybody can have an opinion which may be true or false. If it is true, it is true, if it is false, then that is wrong. The law, on the basis of a trial will determine that.

People do not get arrested for stating their opinion.

Military Juntas tried to suppress that in the past and I am sure you were against that. It is wrong.

I am also certain that you have an opinion regarding the current state of our democracy, whether true or false. but I bet you haven't been arrested on the basis of your opinion.

A lot of people state facts on nairaland and haven't been arrested for it.

If the Pastor feels maligned, it is his right to sue for damages. But in Nigeria where the Law and Law enforcement is in the pockets of the rich and "powerful", people get arrested for stating their opinions and held in prison.

Human rights abuse.

This is a civil matter and Miss Olunloyo has no business being in prison.

But in a Jungle, rules don't exist I guess.

Let everyone condemoning the pastor keep their mouths shut.

You keep comparing Jesus with pastors

Jesus came for the purpose to be lied against, hated and be killed.
So when they did it he didnt fight them.

He even said it that " do you think I cant call on my father to send me Legion of Angels to fight for me? but for this purpose I have come"

No other person has come for same.
No pastor or Christian.

Are you saying if the man of God is attacked with dangerous weapons like they did to Jesus he should keep calm like Jesus?

Who among you would behave like Jesus and wont fight back in the face of danger.

It pains my heart wen I see christians condemning the pastor for getting her locked.

Let her fight for herself if she's right in court.

Anyone among you condemning this will surfer the same fate if you blackmail and u are caught.
